Skyrim gameplay preview at G4TV

G4TV has rewritten the rules of what constitutes a gameplay preview. Traditionally gameplay previews contained video footage the game illustrating how features would actually work in game. G4TV has altered this to mean an interview with Todd Howard where he discusses some details of Skyrim spliced with footage from the official trailer.

Todd Howard and Adam Sessler discuss the background and storyline of skyrim, changes to the statistics and attributes system, and dragons.

Please note that despite the name there is neither gameplaying or previewing in the video.

    aww man, i realy want this game!!!! i would shoot myself in the foot just to get the booklet for this game i would break my legs for the game! then i would have to crawl to the gamestation....

    not really a rewrite just saying something is something its not or failure to deliver on the actual product tomorrow im gonna rewrite the rules of taxes so that i pay nothing and see how that goes. i will say its awesome but id rather see todd playing the game then talking

    Huh... So at 4:51, Todd Howard says that they plan on rebooting the Elder Scrolls series, with the new generation of consoles..

    So... ... wait.. does that exactly mean?
    They are going to do them over again?!
    I Mean.. on one hand I know he means the "engine"...
    But it kinda feels like he's alluding to the first few redone??

    I was hoping they didn't actually drag Todd out into some frozen wasteland just for the background there.

    Then I saw the puffs of breath that are visible from cold. And the lighting is weird. I can't tell it apart anymore!

    I've never really been a huge fan of G4TV, but this is certainly better than nothing!

    Yeah, I was rather disappointed, but you said it better, they have indeed rewritten the rules for this, meh...
