About this mod
this is a texture replacer (only cathedral folder) for the vanilla tamriel cathedral textures. its the idea that this replacer provides the look and feel of the original but with a definitely higher detail level as you can see in the pictures. textures, normals and meshes related to the cathedral folder are (or will be) optimized

this is a texture replacer mod for the vanilla tamriel cathedral textures. this replacer provides the look and feel of the original but with a definitely higher detail level as you can see in the pictures. to avoid problems with other texture replacer this zip file contains new textures plus optimized vanilla ones.
Additionally I added an optional zip-file with further optimized cathedral quarl-textures, which i personally use and perfectly fits to my mod. all credits for the basic textures of this package go to our mod legend quarl.
since V 1.6 I added optional better res textures for awls - all credits to the awls team
AWLS must be installed!
Installation:
after performing your cathedral folder texture/mesh backup just put the files in the oblivion data folder. archive invalidation after installation is recommended.
do the same with the optional quarl package (only textures) and the optional AWLS package
be shure to make a backup of the cathedral-folder if you use already an ultra hd replacer for the cathedrals or if this replacement is not what you expected. you just need to copy your backup to switch back . nothing else is changed so i assume there is no potential for any further conflicts.
