Kats Better Rosethorn Hall v1.10 (3-25) Please read the bottom if you already have 1.00 installed.

This mod is my attempt to improve Rosethorn Hall while still keeping the origional feel. It is a work in progress and if there is demand, updated versions may be available. This mod is intended to be used AFTER you have purchased Rosethorn Hall and purchased ALL the upgrades for it. It shouldn't interfere with any quests involved with Rosethorn Hall. The inspiration for this mod was Bab body and clothing mod, I needed not only more containers but better set up storage containers. I don't like to have 100 items in 1 container. My goal was for tasteful and understated, I hope I have at least sort of achieved that.

WHAT THIS MOD DOES:
It removes all but 1 display cases from Rosethorn, it is a private residence not a jewelry store after all.

Furniture has been rearranged to more functional and neat. Also more furniture has been added.

Many more containers are very tastefully added to all areas.

Improved lighting is certain areas to add more realism.

And most importantly a warmer more cozier home that is also more functional.

ADDED 3-25: Main hall book shelves improved (ALOT), dining room redecorated, 1 small container added to bedroom, basement remains unchanged this update.

WHAT THIS MOD DOES NOT DO:
Give you access to uber super items, there are none.

Give you trophy room, super alchemy sorter stations, training areas, or scantily clad servants. There are plenty of other house mods that provide these things.

Give you every book in the game. There is only a small collection of the most common books.

Installation:
Step 1 - Place the plugin into oblivion\data folder. This mod doesn't override any files (unless you have mods from Cinnamon & Trey Leavens, Xiamara, or Trollf). In this case you can override or choose not to, it won't make a difference if you have the files already.
Step 2 - Remove all items from chests and display cases in Rosethorn Hall. You should be able to leave items in other types of containers such as wardrobes and dressers.
Step 3 - Remove all items from shelves, the tops of dressers, cabinets, desks, tables, etc. You don't need to remove items from Ejya's area in basement they are untouched.
Step 4 - Activate mod in data files and everything should be working fine.
Step 5 - Enjoy.

IMPORTANT - As with all mods be sure and BACK UP YOUR SAVED GAMES JUST IN CASE! The reason all items should be removed from chests is that I deleted and replaced all the chests, any items left in them will be lost. Removing the loose items from shelves, desks, etc will stop collision from happening and having items fly all over the place making a mess. Once mod is active new items will take the place of the old. The only area that you don't need to remove items from is Ejya's area in basement (her chest remains untouched also). I am not exactly sure the process of enabling rooms after puchasing the upgrades from stores, so you will have to purchase the room additions at store BEFORE enabling this mod. This only applies to new games of course, if you have already purchased the upgrades in existing game then all should be fine.

3-25 UPGRADE: If you are upgrading from v1.00 to v1.10 then you can safely leave items in all containers in the game EXCEPT for the 1 chest and the 1 barrel in the kitchen/dining room area. Those containers are gone now. BE SURE AND BACK UP ANY SAVE BEFORE ACTIVATING. Everything should be ok, if not please message me here or at the Canadian Ice forums which I frequent often http://canadianice.ufrealms.net/Morrowind/Index.html

In the future:

I very much wish to add a bath/spa but at the moment this is proving to be very difficult to do without making vast changes to Rosethorn (which I will not do). But I haven't given this idea up yet.

A pet! Nothing major just a dog or cat that has it own routine inside Rosethorn. It won't be a combat pet, just eye candy.

Possibly small improvements from Shining Isle expansion if I see something that catches my eye.

Maybe painting replacement? I really am not fond of some of the standard paintings in vanilla.

Any suggestions? :)
