OCOL is my attempt to add the ease into OBSE. OCOL is a tricked-out version of the original launcher that has two great new features. It supports launching BOTH the game and the Construction Set from the original oblivion launcher, AND it supports OBSE. It's a snap to install. It only has one very minor sacrificed functionality, the Elderscrolls.com link is removed and replaced with a Construction Set link. However, I do believe I traded up, and you can too!
Keep in mind that this supports OBSE, but OBSE is not required. However, the otherwise daunting task of installing OBSE is mere child's play when you apply my oil to your engine.
Plus, OBSE is the future of oblivion modding, so convert today.
SO... if you don't like OBMM, or prefer the antique feeling of the original oblivion launcher, or don't want to clutter yourself with shortcuts, this mod is for you.
It is compatible with... basically everything. It won't screw up your load order any more than the original oblivion launcher did.
PS. I used a hex editor and the free program reshack to make this... thing. Also Clickteam install maker, great because it's free!
