Update 2.0: Finally completely fixed the collision problem. Also made numerous tweaks to pushing and combat moves. Requires 1.2 patch.

This mod adds new combat moves to Oblivion as well as add new elemental effects to spells. I seek to overhaul the entire combat system to make it much more fun and diverse.

* Elemental Spell Effects *

The SuddenViolence_ElementalSpells.esp adds special effects to elemental spells. It does this through scripting so there will be no conflicts with any mod and it will work with custom spells made through the spellmaking altar. The effects only work if the spell being cast has a duration of at least 1 second. All spells made from the spellmaking altar fit this requirement. However, many standard elemental spells in Oblivion do not have a duration so the effects will not work for those spells.

Spell effects are:

Fire - There is a chance that an enemy hit by a fire spell will stagger. There is a smaller chance that it will push enemies away as well.
Frost - There is a chance that an enemy hit by a frost spell will be slowed down for the duration of the frost spell. There is a smaller chance that the enemy will be frozen solid and become unable to move or attack. If the enemy is frozen solid, it will have a chance to become unfrozen every 3 seconds.
Shock - There is a chance that when you hit an enemy with a shock spell, the spell will bounce off of the enemy and do half as much damage to another enemy.

* Combat Moves *

All combat abilities cost fatigue relative to their power. The combat moves (charge, spin, and dodge attacks) require that you are holding a melee weapon and that it is unsheathed. Pushing and sprinting have no requirements. Combat moves do not damage anyone that's not currently in combat.

New abilities and attacks:

Pushing - You can push enemies away from you by the press of a button. Many people have been asking for a mechanism similar to Dark Messiah's kick ability but there's no kick animation in Oblivion so I added pushing instead. You can only push when your weapon is unsheathed. When you push someone they are knocked back and they are dealt a little fatigue damage based on your strength and their endurance. When their fatigue depletes they are knocked down. If your strength is below their endurance, you could be staggered by the effort. Pushing when not holding any weapons costs less fatigue. Pushing others does not give you a bounty but it does cause others to dislike you. The default push key is the ENTER key on the number pad.

Dodge Attack - This is the most basic of the three combat moves. With this, you make a quick attack and then flip backwards to dodge any incoming attacks. The damage dealt is based on your agility attribute. The default dodge attack does not work in first person. You can toggle a first person version with a console command from below. Requires at least 25 weapon skill levels to use. By default it is performed by pressing your attack, block, and backward keys all at once.

Spin Attack - This is the intermediate combat move. It allows for a spinning attack that deals damage and knocks back everyone around you. It's useful in situations where you're surrounded by enemies. Requires a weapon skill level of 50 to use. It is performed by pressing your attack, block, and left or right keys all at once.

Charge Attack - This is the most advanced on the three combat moves. It allows you to perform a very powerful charging attack where you move forward at a high speed and launch a power attack at your target that deals damage based on your speed attribute. Requires at least 75 skill levels to use. It is performed by pressing your attack, block, and forward keys all at once.

Sprinting - This ability allows you to run forwards at a rate much faster than your normal running speed but costs a great amount of fatigue to use. When you run into enemies, they may be stunned depending on your speed and athletics as well as their endurance. Enemies also take fatigue damage. To use this, you must have at least a small amount of fatigue remaining, be running, and be going forward. Your sprinting speed bonus is based on your athletics skill. If you are a master of athletics you gain the additional perk of being able to walk on water while sprinting. The default sprint key is your 'G' key.

* Script Icon Replacer *

This mod also comes with a script icon replacer that replaces the script effect icon with an unused Bethesda icon so that you won't experience strange lights and sounds during combat. Make sure to load this esp last.
