Purpose
-------

This is a green-tinted version of my Ayleid Ruins re-texture. I added a green tint for those who felt it was more "authentic" to the intent of Bethesda's original textures.

This mod, just as in the other one, is a remake of the textures used for the Ayleid Ruin structures. After spending many hours inside of Ayleid Ruins, I began to wonder what they would look like if I could have seen them without the damage of age. I modified each texture to remove the age damage.

This can be used in two ways.

1. By adding these textures to your Oblivion data directory, every Ayleid Ruin in the game will look renewed. This mod does not change the ruins themselves, so broken columns, fallen

bricks, etc. are still present, but the stone and iron work in the ruins is back to it's original splendor. You can experience the Ayleid Ruins from a new perspective, similarly

to how the original Ayleid's would have done. I was quite startled at the difference it made (and I was expecting it!).

2. Use as a modder's resource for those of you building new Ayleid structures that would prefer a less weathered look.

This version uses a slight green marble, and the ironwork more of a bronze. In this version I did not change the texture of the Varla and Welkyd stones.

If you'd prefer the white marble version, it can be found at:

Installation
-------------

1. Use a zip-compatible extractor program to extract the contents of the zip into your

..\Oblivion\Data directory. Ensure you have "use subfolders" enabled.

2. If you still use the "archiveinvalidation.txt" file, then copy the contents of the

included ArchiveInvalidation.txt file to your file.

Deinstallation
--------------

1. Delete the directory ..\Oblivion\Data\textures\dungeons\ayleidruins
2. Remove associated files from your ArchiveInvalidation.txt file (if appropriate)

Known Problems
--------------

1. This mod will over write any existing Ayleid Ruins textures you have in your Oblivion

directory.
