About this mod

What it does:
An alternative to the 'togglemapmarkers' console cheat, once installed and activated, the next time you load or start a new game of Oblivion all map markers you haven't yet discovered will be added to your map in an 'unvisited' state. These markers simply point out where you need to go to reach a particular place.

Permissions and credits
A quick note for everyone: Please realise that this mod is NOT the same as the 'tmm' console cheat, though it is similar. The console cheat adds all the map markers in the game in a 'visited' state, meaning that you can fast travel to them straight away. This mod adds them in an 'unvisited' state, meaning that before you can fast travel to them, you must first visit them at least once. Unvisited map markers also have different coloured icons on the world map, meaning that this mod allows you to effectively keep a note of where you've visited. There. Now stop making those silly comments about this being a pointless mod, and which clearly show that you haven't bothered to fully read the mod's description.

Fast travel to them will not be possible until you have visited each site at least once.
The mod adds 312 map markers. The scripting does not add markers for any Oblivion gates as I felt this might cause problems with the main quest.

Included files:
AddMapMarkers.esp
AddMapMarkersReadme.txt

How to install & activate:
Extract the AddMapMarkers.esp file to your "Oblivion\Data\" folder (default is "C:\Program Files\Oblivion\Data\"). Next, start up the Oblivion frontend program and click on "Data Files". In the window that opens make sure the "AddMapMarkers.esp (Player File)" checkbox has an X in it, then click on OK. Now just play Oblivion as normal and you should have all map markers visible on your Cyrodiil map the next time you start to play (you should see a 'Map Marker Added' message on screen after a few seconds of playing).

Why I made this mod:
Basically, I've completed the game, except for a few Daedric shrine quests, but I wanted to make sure I'd visited every place in Cyrodiil. I also want to start over again with a new character, this time making sure I visit all locations before embarking on any real questing. This mod will allow myself, and anyone using it to systematically make their way across Cyrodiil, clearing out dungeons, visiting shrines, and generally being extremely thorough in their adventuring.
