WHAT DOES THIS MOD DO?

This mod adds 6 armors and 6 shields to "Hammer and Tongs" in Skingrad for you to buy.
The armors and shields look exactly like townguard's armor and shield, but you can change the symbol on them.

INSTALLATION

Extract the two folders and the esp file inside the Data directory of Oblivion, activate the esp file in the launcher,and you're done.

HOW TO CHANGE THE LOGOS

I'm going to give you an example. suppose you want to edit your shield's logo.

1) extract materiale.rar to a folder of your choice
2) you'll find that it contains the texture files of the shields, saved as bmp files.
3) Open the file you want to edit.The last 2 letters stand for color and weight.
R=Red B=blue M=brown W=white, H=heavy, L=Light
4) As you can see, the logo had been removed
3) Paste your favourite logo and save (don't change the name of the file)
4) Convert the image to .dds
NOTE:
I use nvidia dds utilities to convert the file to dds format (instructions are found with the program, however it's quite simple)
You can find dds utilities on www.elderscrolls.com, in the downloads section of morrowind.
(remember that dds utilities can only convert tga files to dds files)
5) paste the dds image in (your oblivion directory)\Data\textures\PShield
6) Enjoy!

if you want to change an armor, follow the example but instead of "shield" you should read "cuirass"

FINAL NOTES

- Each of the 6 shields has its image. The armors instead have only 3 images. This means that White Cuirass has the same logo in its light and heavy version.
- The shields are Red, Brown and Blue. The armors are White, Red and Blue. (the armors/shields) are obviously copied from kvatch, skingrad and chorrol townguard armors. Sadly, my graphical skills are poor, and I can't go beyond copy and paste.
- Inside materiale.rar you'll find 2 files named stampino_cuirass and stampino_shield. I used these to have an easy time cutting my images to fit the round space.
- the images I used are property of their respective autors. If asked, I'll remove them and use instead some ugly images made by me
