Description

I have combined my other three Dark UI supplemental mods into this pack for ease of downloading. I am also a huge fan of Oblivion Mod Manager and have started using scripting to make more advanced and useful archives. Thanks to lhammonds, and his webpage on OBMM scripting I have developed this mod pack.

In order to complete my favorite user interface mod Dark UI by Greybird, I have replaced the two video files: maploop, and oblivion iv logo.bik, as well as many icons in the game such as the skills, attributes, and faction icons with Dark UI styled versions. I have also even changed the quick key wheel into a Dark UI version.

This Mod Contains:

Dark UI Video Replacements 1.1
Map loop.bik and Oblivion iv logo.bik replacements

Dark UI Factions and Quick Wheel 1.0
Faction emblems made into dark ui style, and also the quick key wheel into dark style

Dark UI Skills and Attributes 1.0
Skills emblems made into dark ui style, and attributes replacement icon (for use with Major Jims Dark UI specifically)

Installation
This 7z file has been converted from an OMOD i created that compiles my mods into one. Therefore, there are a few options for installation: a) simply extract the mod into your Oblivion\Data folder (the directories are intact within the archive) or b) use OBMM to convert the 7z back into an OMOD.

NOTE: If you do not use the OMOD option, then you will have to manually rename the dark ui vids so they will replace the stock vids OR edit your oblivion.ini file so it loads the dark ui ones.

The OMOD contains various installation scripts so you can only use any part of the above you wish. The installation is nondestructive so you dont have to back up your movies anymore ( I have named them differently than stock movies and simply use a script to modify the oblivion.ini file to load the dark ui movies--which is removed when you deactivate the mod). There are also a serious of options regarding what parts of this mod you wish to install.

By doing it this way, I can still give you just one file to download and one OMOD will handle it all instead of having you simply install one of several OMODs.

Uninstallation

Do the opposite of the above (i.e. delete the files). Or...deactive the OMOD.

Required Files

Oblivion Mod Manager if you want to use OMODs.

Version History

1.0 Combined my Dark UI replacements files into one mod
for ease of downloading, and utilized OBMM's scripting capabilities for ease of installation.

Problems

If you cannot open the archive you downloaded, you need to get 7zip. Its a .7z file.
