Release History
---------------

01/09/2006 Version 1.01 - Bug fix release

Fixed a bug with the NPC that sells the robes. For some people she wasn't offering to sell anything. I removed some uneeded AI packages to fix this.
You only need to download this version if you were experiencing the problem. Thanks to ysne58, ginnyfizz, AlienSlof and Redwoodtreesprite for
help identifying this problem and testing the fix.

28/08/2006 Version 1.00 - Initial Release

Installation
------------
Extract this 7z file into your Oblivion\Data folder. Choose yes if prompted to overwrite files, this should only happen if your upgrading from a previous
version. Before running Oblivion choose the Data Files option from the Oblivion launcher menu and check the box next to EITHER Classic-Wizard-Robes-U.esp
OR Classic-Wizard-Robes-UL.esp. DO NOT USE BOTH at the same time.

Which esp file should you use? The answer depends if you are willing to lose an enchantement slot or not.

Classic-Wizard-Robes-U.esp sets the robes to use ONLY the upperbody slot.
Pro - you can equip another item in the lowerbody slot at the same time as wearing the robe and not lose an enchantment slot.
Con - you will get clipping through the skirt of the robe. The naked leg mesh will clip a bit as will any pants or armour.
Work-around - I've supplied 2 items called Invisible Pants(clothing) and Invisible Greaves(armor)that equip in the lower body slot and will stop
any clipping as its uses a blank nif. These can be enchanted like any other pants or greaves.

Classic-Wizard-Robes-UL.esp sets the robes to use BOTH the upperbody and lowerbody slots.
Pro - no need to worry about clipping as you cant equip any other item in the lowerbody slot and this method removes the naked leg mesh.
Con - you lose an enchantment slot.
Alternative - Use the Classic-Wizard-Robes-U.esp as explained above.

About The Items
---------------
The robes come either with or without a classic pointed wizard hat. You can tell by the name of the item, and the inventory icon which ones have a hat
and which do not have a hat, eg 'Nightsilk Robes' has a hat denoted by the s at the end of the name and 'Nightsilk Robe' does not have a hat. The hats
are a part of the robe mesh and can not be taken off without removing the whole robe. I had to make them part of the robe because making them a seperate
helmet item would remove your hair when you equip it. This is the reason the robes are offered without the hats.

The robes are available as clothing to suit pure mages AND as light armor to suit battlemages. You can tell by the name of the item if its armor or
clothing, eg 'Nightsilk Robes (A)' is armor denoted by the (A) at the end of the name and 'Nightsilk Robes' is clothing.

There are 11 different textures. Each texture applies to 6 nif files - male, female, male no hat, female no hat, world model and world model no hat.

Obtaining The Items In Game
---------------------------
All 11 robes, 11 armored robes and the invisible pants and greives are for sale in the Bravil chapter of the Mages Guild from a new NPC called
Arcanist Gwynlara, she's a High Elf wearing one of the new robes.
