This mod adds spells and abilities that can be gained based on the player\'s specialization, magic, combat, or stealth. The spells/abilities are gained based on the primary and secondary specializations and the player’s actual level. You can also gain abilities based on your rank in certain guilds such as the Thieves guild, Mages guild, Fighter

This mod adds spells and abilities that can be gained based on the player's specialization, magic, combat, or stealth. The spells/abilities are gained based on the primary and secondary specializations and the player’s actual level. You can also gain abilities based on your rank in certain guilds such as the Thieves guild, Mages guild, Fighters guild, etc. These abilities add more versatility to gameplay and can make battles more interesting however may slightly unbalance things, so you may want to consider another mod such as Adrenaline Oblivion or turning up the difficulty slider to really enrich the battle/gaming experience. There is also a system of sub-classing, for your secondary specialization, where you will gain the level 5 abilities at level 10 instead, the level 10 abilities at level 20 and so on…

Features:
• All Summon durations have been increased by 3x to make the ‘pet’ spells more useful, the casting costs have been increased by 50% to compensate. The level of the spells has not been affected.
• All durations on Bound items has been increased by 10x to make them a more sound option for casters and fighters alike. However, Bound items will now decrease your magicka regeneration rate to compensate for the longer duration and for balance

Combat Specialization
Level 5: Offensive Mode (Cost: Stamina 4/sec, Magicka 1/sec)
While in offensive mode, you will be faster, stronger and deal more damage at the price of lower health and defense.

Level 10: Charge - Enhanced speed and magic resistances. (Cost: 50 Stamina)
Level 15: Provoke - Area-of-Effect taunt that causes nearby enemies to enter into a blind rage, lowering their defense but making them thirst for your blood. (Cost: 100 Stamina)
Level 20: Rage - Further enhanced speed and weapon skills while lowering defense to normal weapons. (Cost: 50 Stamina)
Level 25: Thorns - The player covers his/her body in thorns causing damage to himself but even more so to any enemies that come near and dare to attack. (Cost: 100 Stamina)
Level 30: Sunder Armor - Shout that damages all nearby enemies in a fiery field damaging their armor. In some cases, the armor can become so hot that the enemy cannot stand to hold onto it any longer. (Cost: 50 Stamina)

Level 5: Defensive Mode (Cost: Magicka 2/sec)
While in defensive mode, you will be tougher and have faster health/stamina regeneration at the cost of weapon skill, damage and speed.

Level 10: First Aid - Player applies the necessary treatments to quickly heal his/her wounds while outside of combat. (Cost: 200 Stamina)
Level 15: Howl - Area-of-Effect warcry that causes nearby enemies to become very frightened, lowering their willingness to fight and making them much more likely to flee from you. (Cost: 50 Stamina)
Level 20: Iron Skin - This ritual calls upon the nine divines to thicken the skin of the warrior to absorb blows more effectively. (Cost: 100 Stamina)
Level 25: Shield Slam - The player gets behind his shield and rams the opponent with it stunning and disorienting them for a brief moment. (Cost: 100 Stamina)
Level 30: Corrode Weapon - Shout that damages all nearby enemies in a field of fire scorching their weapon. Often, the weapon will become white hot causing the enemy to drop it. (Cost: 100 Stamina)


Stealth Specialization
Level 5: Summon Arrows - Player fletches a set of 5 arrows scaled to his level. (Cost: 75 Magicka)
Level 10: Hawks Eye - Player gains the sharp senses of a bird of prey and greatly enhanced ranged damage while being left very vulnerable. (Cost: 100 Magicka)
Level 15: Wind Walk - The player can move unseen and unheard as fast as the wind. (Cost: Once Per Day)
Level 20: Viper - The assassin conducts a dark ritual enchanting his blade with his own essence to inflict a mortal wound upon any unlucky recipient of his deadly strike. (Cost: 65 Health, 200 Stamina, 100 Magicka)
Level 25: Anthrax Arrow - Once the assassin has learned the potent Viper ability, he can then master the ability to employ infectious diseases and apply them to his arrows without becoming the hapless victim himself. (Cost: 65 Health, 200 Stamina, 100 Magicka)
Level 30: Plague Storm - After grasping the concept of antibodies and viruses, the keen assassin can transform viral infections into a potent powder form. After this powder is gathered into a sack, the assassin can slam it into the ground causing it to burst into a cloud of deadly spores, which once inhaled, will cause plague on all those without the proper immunity. (Cost: 125 Magicka)


Magic Specialization
Level 5: Magicka Surge - The neophyte mage learns the ability to call forth pure energy from the air around him and subjugate it to his will allowing him endless casting for a short duration. (Cost: Once Per Day)
Level 10: Exit - A good mage always remembers from whence he came. With this ability, he can instantly travel out of any dungeon or internal dwelling. (Cost: 150 Magicka)
Level 15: Energy Shield - After conquering the ability to gather raw energy from thin air, the spellcaster can form the energy around him to create a shield for protection from enemy onslaught. (Cost: 230 Magicka)
Level 20: Concussion - Higher mages can learn to transform the energy around them into a powerful force causing it to knock down and harm all foes that dare to get close. (Cost: 200 Magicka)
Level 25: STOP! - After mastering the manipulation of energy, powerful wizards can alter the very fabric of time itself. Using this ability will stop time on any foe causing him to neither move nor take damage. (Cost: Once Per Day)
Level 30: Nuke - The most knowledgeable wizards can focus the elements of fire, lightning and cold into a devastating blast crippling a single enemy. However, exerting such force taxes the mage greatly leaving him vulnerable and unable to focus for a short duration. (Cost: Once Per Day)


Fighter's Guild
Level 20 Protector: Arcane Repair - A skilled fighter will be taught the intricacies of using mystical forces to repair gear beyond his normal capacity. (Cost: Once Per Day)

Mages Guild
Members of the mages guild are taught the ability to harness the power of magicka to recharge their spent items.
Level 5 Associate: Recharge 150 Points (Cost: 75 Magicka)
Level 10 Apprentice: Recharge 300 Points (Cost: 150 Magicka)
Level 15 Evoker: Recharge 800 Points (Cost: 400 Magicka)
Level 20 Magician: Recharge 1200 Points (Cost: 600 Magicka)
Level 25 Master-Wizard: Recharge 1600 Points (Cost: 800 Magicka)

Thieves Guild
Level 5 Bandit: Summon Lockpicks - A lowly thief can learn to craft his own make-shift lockpicks out of very little materials found around him. (Cost: 75 Magicka)
Level 15 Cat Burglar: Silver Tongue - A cunning thief always knows how to get his way. After a life of crime and consequences, a seasoned veteran can persuade others into liking him and can usually get the better end of the deal when bartering. (Cost: Once Per Day)
Level 25 Gray Fox: Breach Security - A well decorated member will learn the ins & outs of lock picking and locksmithing to simply take a lock apart rather than fooling around with lockpicks. This method takes a lot of time and concentration so it can only be used sparingly. (Cost: Once Per Day)

Installation:
1) Extract all files, Textures and Meshes folders to your game’s Data directory, over-writing any existing files.
2) Open up Oblivion Mod Manager or the default Oblivion Launcher; check “Special Abilities.esp”.
3) Enjoy! ^_^

Uninstallation:
1) Deactivate ‘Special Abilities.esp’.
2) Deactivate ‘Crafting Skill Engine.esm’.
3) Delete: \Data\Special Abilities.esp
\Data\Crafting Skill Engine.esm
4) Delete: \Data\Meshes\SpecialAbilities\*
5) Delete: \Data\Textures\Menus\Icons\SpecialAbilities\*
