This mod makes modifications to several of the races from vanilla Oblivion in order to make their racial characteristics more useful. This mod makes modifications to several of the races from vanilla Oblivion in order to make their racial characteristics more useful. Many of the default racial powers are usable only in very specific circumstances and only once a day; as a result it's far too easy to forget they exist (the Imperial's powers are the worst offenders here). This mod attempts to correct that power by either removing once-a-day powers and replacing them with constant effects, or by changing once-a-day powers into lesser powers (dramatically reducing their effects to compensate).

This mod is in beta until I feel more comfortable with the gameplay balance of the new abilities; if you have suggestions or comments, please email me at "hauslajd AT rose-hulman.edu".

Here is a list of the specific changes made by the mod. All lesser powers have 0 magicka cost.
-Breton "Dragon Skin" power was removed; to compensate, magic resistance was increased from 50% to 60%
-Dark Elf "Ancestor Ghost" power was removed; to compensate, an "Ancester Ghosts' Aid" constant effect was added that fortifies Luck by 5 points; race text description was changed accordingly
-Imperial "Star of the West" power was removed and "Voice of the Emperor" power was changed to a lesser power that charms for 30 seconds with a magnitude of 10 points
-Khajiit "Demoralize" power was removed; to compensate, a "Scent" lesser power was added that detects life within 30 feet for 30 seconds; race text description was changed accordingly
-Nord "Woad" and "Nordic Frost" powers were removed; to compensate, frost resistance was increased from 50% to 100%; race text description was changed accordingly
-Orc "Berserk" power was changed to a lesser power that, for 60 seconds, fortifies Strength by 25 points and damages fatigue by 5 points per second
-Redguard "Adrenaline Rush" power was removed; to compensate, a "Toughness" constant effect was added that fortifies Health by 25 points
-Wood Elf "Beast Tongue" power was removed; to compensate, a "Camouflage" lesser power was added that provides 10% chameleon for 60 seconds; race text description was changed accordingly
