Challenging Thievery sets out to change the lack of suspenseful, non-fun thieving in the game.

Update: includes a version which doesn't change houses at all, only adds the treasuries

This mod adds 4 treasuries to Castles and Churches throughout the game, and adds several new gameplay conditions described later on in this description. I'll describe them all now so you can find them.

Bruma's Armory: It's in the Castle Barracks... you know, where the guards sleep. This is the hardest treasury I've made. I couldn't do it with sneak of 53, but I could with 100 so it's possible.

Anvil's Church Undercroft Crypt: The title says it all, it's in the trap door hatch. Have fun in there, won't you?

Cheydinhal's Treasury: At first look, it seems quite impossible with that guard right in front of the door getting into the Count's room (it's his personal Treasury, keep that in mind, because it requires a key). But I assure you, no guard can stay standing all day.

Chorrol's Treasury: It's in the Personal Quarters. The guards are a bit corrupt. Luckily for you, they can't catch/kill who they can't see. Look out for barrels... They keep you invisible

I assure you, all 4 can be raided without any cheating, only what is provided when entering the treasury/armory/undercroft. You can do them at levels as low as 3, but some will still be challanging at level 20. There's multiple ways to approach the problems this mod gives you, one for any level of strength.

What this mod also adds to the game is a more interesting experience with house robbing. If you're in the house or bedroom with the owner, and you're trespassing, there's always a chance (based on your sneak skill) that the owner will hear or notice you. From there on, he/she can do anything from reporting you to the guards, to fighting you to the death.

I recommend with this mod:

(yes I know I misspelled challenging on the esp)
