Although McAllon made the perfect horse summoning plug-in, it lacked the ability to summon horses with barding. This version aims to address the issue. You can now summon any of the ownable base game horses, any of the armored horses and the Unicorn.

= Details =

When installing this mod, you will immediately gain 4 Lesser Powers:

Mark Horse
Mark Warhorse
Summon Horse
Summon Warhorse

These powers cost 5 Magicka per cast and should not cause any of your schools to increase in skill, keeping the Magicka free purists clean. You may Mark up to two horses, of both types. So, you could mark and summon your White Anvil horse, Shadowmere, your Steel barded Cheydinhal Black and your Elven barded Old Nag. The Unicorn is considered a base Oblivion horse, for purposes of scripting, so you it falls under the Mark/Summon Horse aspects.

You will also find a new gem in your inventory:

Epona's Whisper

Horse commands are accomplished via this seemingly mundane emerald. Equiping the Whisper will instruct all nearby owned horses to follow. Unequiping the emerald will stop them, right where they stand. For ease of use, simply add Epona's Whisper to a hotkey and toggle, at will. Further, McAllon's ClickStop and ClickFollow sounds have been fully implemented. Equip the emerald and you will hear the three quick clicks that tell your horse to follow. Remove the merald and you hear the two clicks that mean stop. It's a very immersive effect, when bound to a hotkey. Epona's Whisper uses no body slots, so it won't take the place of one of your more important combat items.

= Compatibility =

This mod should be compatible with any horse mod that you would choose to use it with, as there is no alteration of the horses, themselves.

= Important! =

This plug-in *MUST* be merged with whatever version of DLCHorseArmor that you use. I have included a pre-merged copy of the base Bethesda DLCHorseArmor and GP_Call Steed.
If you are using something other than the base Bethesda copy, then I recommend using the TES4 Plugin Utility, or something similar, to merge this with that mod. To be on the safe side, you should then open your merged copy with the CS and resave the script:

GPCallHorseMarkScript
GPCallHorseSummonScript
GPCallWarhorseMarkScript
GPCallWarhorseSummonScript
GPCallSteedPowersScript
GPCallSteedRingScript

Note that this plug-in is *fully* compatible with the original Call Steed mod and you could use both of them at the same time, to bring your base horse mark/summon total to 5. However, if you have no purchased the bethesda Horse plug-in, you will be better served by the original plug-in as this version requires the DLC data.

= Installation =

Drag and drop the Sounds directory into your Oblivion\Data directory.
Choose one of the two provided .esp files.
- If you use the basic DLCHorseArmor, simply drag and drop the GP_Call Steed.esp file into your Oblivion\Data directory.
- If you use a modified horse plug-in, follow the merge directions above and then drop the new .esp into your Oblivion\Data directory.
