A modification that limit the healthful effects of rest in Oblivion:

LESS HEALTHFUL REST - OBLIVION MOD

DESCRIPTION:
-------------------

This mod LESSHEALTHFULREST.ESP will have THREE effects on sleep and wait behaviour in game:

A. Waiting action will not heal your character now: at the end of wait period, the mod will revert health value to the previous one.

B. Modified amount of health restored while sleeping:
*each* hour of sleep will heal your character just 1/8 of your max health level -> you'll need to rest 8 hours in order to fully heal yourself.

C. [Related to "B" point]: The mod limits the available health restorable during SLEEP in relationship to the TIME PLAYED accordingly to this rules:

- You start with "8 Recovery Points" which you can use to regain your health when you sleep: you gain 1/8th of your health back, in exchange for using 1 recovery point, for every hour you slept. 8 hours slept will full heal, in exchange for using all of yours 8 Recovery Points (if you have).

- Any amount of hours you'll sleep, you'll be bounded to heal yourself in relationship with the number of Recovery Points you still have. You'll heal IF YOU STILL HAVE SOME RECOVERY POINTS TO BE USED. If you sleep more hours than the Points you have, your total amount of them will be used. However, the time will passes by the total of hours you choose to sleep. You'll be notified with a message about the amount of point you've just used during sleep.

- If you choose to sleep "too much" hours (you'd heal yourself more than your maximum health), the Recovery Points that would be in excess will be not used.

- You gain 1 Recovery Point EVERY 2 HOURS (GAME-TIME, NOT REAL TIME!) PASSED WITHOUT REST OR SLEEP: at the end of these 2 hours, a Recovery Point will be added to your total, up to a maximum of 8, and a message appears to inform you: each Recovery Point gained over 8 will be not be added nor notified.

- Time passed during waiting or sleep WILL NOT COUNT to reach the 2 hours needed to gain a new Recovery Point. Only "regular" play will do.

- OTHER EFFECTS OF SLEEP ARE NOT AFFECTED: while you sleep, time passes according to hours you decide to rest, and others mod like "Primary Needs" will work as before. The only thing that differs is the HEALTH YOU GAIN UPON SLEEP: Even if you'll sleep let's say 10 hours, you'll gain the health that your Recovery Points amount will permit.

I know it is a bit complicated, but it is better to play than to describe it. I think it is a good synthetical implementation of health recovered by sleep, or at least, it's a good way to avoid to cheat over and over, sleeping even when your character is not tired (I mean, using a mod like "Primary Needs"), just to gain some health: now you must *PLAY* some time before heal yourself using sleep time.
I hope you like it.

I've added another version of mod, "LESSHEALTHFULWAITING.ESP":
it just avoid that you can heal after a WAITING period. It doesen't contains the reduced healing during SLEEP.
Neither B nor C EFFECTS descrived before will be present in game using this version.

Technical info:
-------------------
In order to modify or revert the health level after sleep or wait, I create some special spells, to drain down health JUST AFTER the waiting/sleep period. Each spell is created for a specific health interval, in order to make the "drain" process the fastest possible (to make them transparent to the player). You'll see however some messages just after the wait period: its impossible to remove these messages; the only way is to "blank" the text related to events from CS editor. But it will be removed for each similar event. Anyway, if you think the messages should be removed, let me know and I'll make it for next release, maybe creating two different ESP.

Revision History:
-------------------
1.04
- Corrected a possible bug during longest fast travels or when using Valik's "Menu Time" mod (or similars mods).

1.03
- Added some messages to inform the player:
* When a Recovery point is gained (total points still left)
* After sleep: how many Recovery Points was used (if any) and how many was left.

1.02a
- Added a different version of mod, "Less Healthful Waiting": it just avoid that you can heal after a WAITING period. It doesn't contain the reduced healing during SLEEP
- Rewrote the explanation (read below) about the healing mechanism in "Less Healthful Rest" Mod: I think it wasn't described very well. I hope now it is.

1.02
- Another update: the script now avoid that the player could gain some health during repeated wait actions (only if performed very fast, indeed), before the completeness of "drain" process related to previous wait period. No cheats are allowed now!

1.01
- A small update, modified the script: now, if you use a number of "Recovery Points" in excess (that *would* bring your health over your maximum health level), these extra points will not be subtracted from your amounted total (that is, it not will be wasted).

1.0
- Revamped my original MOD "NO HEALING DURING WAIT v1.21", and added a modification that limits the amount of health provided by sleep (per day).
