Do you want to take a ride on the dark side?  Shady Sam can help.

Shady Sam (the semi-secret vendor north of the Chestnut Handy Stables along the Imperial City wall) now sells:

- Vampire Blood (potion: contract Porphyric Hemophilia)
- Underworld Declaration (scroll: join Vampire Covenant)
- Rite of the Worm (scroll: join Necromancer Guild)
- Sign of the Hammer (scroll: join Marauder Troth)
- Common Poison Ingredients (and Apparatuses)
- More Lock Picks (50 instead of 30)

and:

- is an independent Fence (NOT exclusive to the Thieves Guild)
- will buy ANYTHING of value
- has a maximum of 1000 gold per transaction

Vampire Blood will infect you with Porphyric Hemophilia.  You will become a Vampire in three days if you do not cure yourself of the disease.  You MUST sleep (NOT wait) to become a Vampire (this is default game behavior, NOT a change made by this mod).  Vampire Blood does not alter the Vampirism script and should be compatible with all common Vampire mods.

The three scrolls represent rituals of declaration/initiation/recognition/etc.  There are no faction quests at present, but members of a faction will not be hostile to the player once the player has joined that faction.  In other words, you can now be a vampire/necromancer/marauder without being forced to fight every other vampire/necromancer/marauder you encounter in the world.  Tis a simple roleplaying aid.

Underworld Declaration affects only Vampires and is inexpensive.

Sign of the Hammer can be cast by any willing character.

Rite of the Worm is expensive and adds basic spells (Summon Ghost, Summon Skeleton, Summon Skeleton Guardian, Summon Zombie, Summon Headless Zombie, Turn Undead, Repulse Undead, Rebuke Undead) and items (Necromancer's Hood, Necromancer's Robe) to the caster.  Undead controlled by other Necromancers (such as Undead in dungeons where Necromancers are found) will not attack the caster without provocation.
