Description

Just a quick little profile I made for JoyToKey, purely to make it a little more enjoyable for anyone coming from Skyrim back to Oblivion but wanting to use a controller.

I should mention, of course, that one would need to download JoyToKey before downloading my profile for it.

Installation

So, once you've downloaded JoyToKey, you should extract the files (Using 7Zip or WinRAR) into your main Oblivion folder. This folder should be located at "This PC > OS (C:) > Program Files (x86) > steam > steamapps > common > Oblivion" if you downloaded it from Steam.

From here, you're going to want to look in your main Oblivion folder for a file titled "Oblivion_default". Once you find it, open it and scroll down until you see this:

;X = 1, Y = 2, Z = 3, XRot = 4, YRot = 5, ZRot = 6
iJoystickMoveFrontBack=2
iJoystickMoveLeftRight=1
fJoystickMoveFBMult=1.0000
fJoystickMoveLRMult=1.0000
iJoystickLookUpDown=6
iJoystickLookLeftRight=3
fJoystickLookUDMult=0.0020
fJoystickLookLRMult=0.0020
fXenonMenuMouseXYMult=0.0003
bBackground Mouse=0
bBackground Keyboard=0
bUse Joystick=1

This is very easy to set up, you just change this:

iJoystickLookUpDown=6
iJoystickLookLeftRight=3

to this:

iJoystickLookUpDown=5
iJoystickLookLeftRight=4

and this:

bUse Joystick=1

to this:

bUse Joystick=0

Save the file and then you're basically all set to download my profile. Once you download the profile, extract it into the JoyToKey folder inside the main Oblivion folder. Boom. All done.

Known Issues

So far the only big issue I have is that sprinting doesn't seem to work when it's bound to L3 on a controller.
