DESCRIPTION:

This mod gives the player a Luggage companion. The Luggage is a complex
multidimensional being that looks like a living treasure box that follows its
master everywhere and it allows to carry any amount of loot with ease.

The Luggage is sulking around in the Kvatch Encampment, just activate it and it
will take a shine on you and it will start following you around.

In the moment the Luggage decides the player is its friend a "Summon Luggage"
lesser power will be added to your spells, with that you can call it anytime
even from far away. After all it is a luggage, it might get lost.

This mod is inspired by the Luggage from Terry Pratchett books, but unlike
the original creature this luggage is fairly shy and does not like to fight.
It is meant only as matter of loot transportation.

Technically, its Aggression is 5 and its Confidence is 0. If you like an
aggressive Luggage, increase the Confidence. The Luggage stats are fairly
strong as based on a Bear of one level higher than the player with magic
immunity and a Umbra-like healing regeneration.

Activating the Luggage will give you access to its contents.

There are two versions, the normal and the simple one. In the simple one when
activate the Luggage while sneaking you will toggle between the following AI
and the sulking around AI. This way you can keep the Luggage away from action
if needed.

Remember that if you are away from the Luggage you can summon it with the
spell, it will appear nearby and happily follow you again.


The normal version has some more functions. The Luggage has three different
drawers (the default activate opens the first), it can be used as a bed, it
will teleport nearby the player if it get stranded, and it allows to quickly
sell the contents of the first drawer.

The latter is obtained giving the player a piece of paper representing all the
items inside the first drawer when it barters. Sell this list and the whole
first drawer content will be transferred to the merchant.

Just remember that honest merchants are not interested in stolen goods, if
there are stolen goods inside the first drawer the list might not appear.



INSTALLATION:

Unpack on the Data Oblivion folder or, better, use Wrye Bash. Activate the
version you want and done. Of course use one version at time, not both.



UNINSTALLATION:

If installed manually, delete the following files / directories:

Data\etbluggage.esp
Data\etbluggage_simple.esp
Data\readme etbluggage.txt
Data\meshes\etbluggage
Data\textures\etbluggage



POSSIBLE CONFLICTS:

The only possible conflict is with mods that alter the Kvatch Encampment where
the Luggage is placed.



BUGS:

Having such a companion may trigger the "Items Disappearing from
Containers
" Oblivion bug.

After changing the AI from sulking to follow the Luggage may need few seconds
to actually start following the player.



ACKNOWLEDGMENTS:

I ripped the Luggage model from the Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul mod, which in
turn used the Always Z model. Always Z allows the use with proper credit.
