- Redesigned Ebony Armor -

- What is this and what it does? -
This is, for now, just a simple texture change, I plan to make it into a mesh change too (but will keep it optional)

This will retexture the Ebony armour, removing all the overly-fancy gold decors while still keeping "gold lines" to keep the vanilla feel or so. Of course, there are new normal maps and specular, I tried my best to make it enjoyable but not masterfully made, because I'm not. Still, I hope you will enjoy it.

To be more specific...You ever noticed the decorative gold in the Cuirass? I removed that, it's mostly black (and rusty) now. That's how I love it. Also, boots had some "holes" that made no sense for me so I removed it. The whole armor didn't have a "shininess" I liked, I changed that. It's more noticeable with the Black variant.

Sadly this does not replace the "female variant", the Ebony Shield nor the Helmet. This is because I didn't feel like doing so, sorry. If I get more requests. I will.

...Or not, I mean for the "female variant", why should I when there's Nuska's "Assorted Protective Female Armors"? I made it so it fit her mesh changes, I even retextured the female boots since Nuska didn't change them. Go check it out!

Other than that, I use Phitt's Helmet Collection which has an "Ebony Sallet" and it's very beautiful, it also fits rather perfectly. Recommended to get as well!

- Now how to install? -

You have two options;

This just keeps the texture while removing the decorative decors. That is, there will still be some rusty bits.

Same as default, but this one will remove (nearly, A VERY SMALL QUANTITY remains, only noticeable if you observe it at a very, very close distance) all the "rusty bits".

BE WARY THAT NONE OF THE TWO VARIANTS CHANGE THE CHAINMAIL'S COLOR.

So, in one of these folders, there's "Data", just move that into your "Oblivion\Data" folder. If it asks to replace, accept. Of course, this whole texture completely replaces all the original "male variant) Ebony textures. In case you have any, be wary.

- Planned Features -

Right now I got some planned features to make, and they are...

1. Retexture the Helmet and Shield, each with two options.
2. If I get a lot of requests, I will do the Female variant. (NOTE: I will NOT do a retexture of a "sexy armor", do NOT try convincing me.)
3. Change some of the meshes, in this case the Male variant. You think the armplates are ugly? Ever noticed that bulging ugly thing on the Humerus? That's what I'd love to change.
4. Retexture Phitts' sexy Ebony Sallet. Even if it fits as it is, why not make it VERY fitting?

But please, if you take these textures, do not take them as yours. You can give credit, but it's not really necessary, though kindly accepted.
