This mod replaces the iron mace with an all-new design, made from scratch with professional quality.

The new model is based on the core aspects of the Bethesda original, in order to keep the same basic features as the original. However, I've applied real-life practical design, and a medieval weapon enthusiast's eye for detail. The results speak for themselves.

I've made an effort to make the replacement and its icons seamlessly blend in with the vanilla game. Aside from the higher quality and sensible design, it should not stand out from the other iron weapons.

REQUIREMENTS
Some sort of archive invalidation, since Bethesda were too lazy to fix something as simple as texture loading.

INCOMPATIBILITIES
Any mod that alters the iron mace's meshes or textures.

INSTALL/UNINSTALL
To install, drop the included mesh and texture folders into the "\Oblivion\Data" directory.

To uninstall, delete these files:

\Data\Meshes\Weapons\Iron\Mace.nif
\Data\Textures\Menus\Icons\Weapons\IronMace.dds
\Data\Textures\Menus50\Icons\Weapons\IronMace.dds
\Data\Textures\Menus80\Icons\Weapons\IronMace.dds
\Data\Textures\Weapons\IronMace.dds
\Data\Textures\Weapons\IronMace_N.dds

Or just use a mod manager and let it do everything for you.
