Safe Roads makes the main roads safe to travel, imagine that. The mod removes bandits, creatures, and highwaymen from the main roads. You should be able to travel every main road without encountering any vanilla placed creature or bandit.

Description:

Safe Roads makes the main roads safe to travel, imagine that. The mod disables(thanks jet4571) bandits, creatures, and highwaymen from the main roads. You should be able to travel every main road without encountering any vanilla placed creature or bandit. Side trails and paths are unaffected.

A quick side note, this is my first mod. I looked for something like this but could never find something that fit the bill so decided to try myself.

I have a few reasons for doing so:

1. The Legion patrol tell me to stay on the roads implying that it is safer. But if you take a look at leveled lists tougher creatures appear at earlier levels on the roads.
2. For the NPCs. Few enough of them travel across Cyrodiil to begin with, the last thing I need is some poor fella getting mauled to death by some wolf.
3. And most of all it totally killed my immersion to get harrased every 5 seconds in the capital province of the Empire. A huge Empire that spans all of Tamriel can't even protect their own roads from some lowly bandits? Lame.

If you see eye to eye with me then by all means give this mod a shot. If you want to Rambo every living thing in the game you should probably hit the back button.

Oblivion gates and the creatures spawned by them were not touched in any way, inappropriately or otherwise.

If you are traveling on the main roads and you do get attacked by a vanilla creature or bandit let me know, I could have missed some.

Installation:
Do it manually or a mod manager of your choice. Just an esp file so should work with any method.

Compatability:
The mod disables creatures and bandits on the main road. If another mod edits the creatures in question it could enable them again. To avoid that try to keep this mod lower than other mods that could effect said creatures.
