Weapons no longer decay.

Permissions and credits
Simply by changing the variables of "fDamageToWeapons" and "fDamageToArmor" in Preferences you can eliminate the decay of weapons and armor. I mention this to point out how simple this was to do, for those who wish to simply tack this effect into their own mods without having to use this plugin.

There are two versions:

The first only makes weapons immune to decay. Armor and shields still take damage. This was mostly done for those who enjoy playing stealth/archer characters who are good at avoiding damage but are tired of having to master the armorer skill to keep their dang short swords and bows from falling apart. If you get hit your armor & shield is still getting damaged. This also means that if you still want to learn armorer you can, because there will still be stuff getting damaged - just not the things you need most. By repairing your armor or looted armor you still can increase your armorer skill, albiet more slowly than in vanilla Oblivion.

With the second version armor doesn't decay either. This one is a bit overpowering, obviously, as it means you'll probably never need a repair hammer or the armorer skill again except for banging the dents out your shield. So personally I don't use this one, but hey, it's there if you want it.

With both versions there are three things you need to be aware of. First, this mod does not effect the damage done to shields. After all, there is a skill perk with the Block skill that can make shields immune to damage already. I don't see the need to duplicate that effect.

Second, this is a universal change, which means your opponents won't suffer from it either. You can fight an opponent for twenty minutes and their armor & weapons will still be 100% intact.

Third, this has no effect on Disintigration spells that target armor & weapons. So if you really want to "power level" armorer despite having this mod installed, you can just zap your own gear down to zero and fix it back up again.
