Yet another blackwood texture replacer.

This mod uses mostly new textures and imaginings on how blackwood might have looked in its primordial past. Of course a real primeval

forest would be entirely alien to us, the plants would have breathed in a different mix of gases including a higher oxygen content,

allowing the flora to grow to huge sizes. I have used a little restraint, although I tend to like my vegetation oversized I have

arrived at a balance where you are not overwhelmed but still mildy amused at the prospect of finding your way around. Several

indigenous trees have new foliage to create the illusion of ancient almost carboniferous forests. If you like vanilla then dont install

this mod, you have been warned!

Trees altered are...

treeblacklocust
treeginko
treesnowgum
treeswampcypress
treeweepingwillow

I must emphasise the fact that this is a retexture that has a lot of various shades of green in it. I like flowers but I wanted the

look of something darker and organic looking.

The flora is an evolution of something I tried in my mod www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/44162 "The imperial ecology" and will slot

in with that texture replacer just fine.
I strongly recomend using xul blackwood and if you use this then the waterfalls will be enhanced by the use of

www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/44655 "foaming falls"

Other mods that enhance the locale are..
www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/44713 "landscape retexture"
www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/23783 "enhanced vegetation"
www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/2536 "natural environments"
http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/42780 "maskars oblivion overhaul" This will give you no small amount of beetles and the like

scampering around the vegetation.

I would also add Villemats "vibrant weather" but it seems to not be on here any more, unless any one knows different..

To Install

Back up the relevant files you are going to replace and/or make an omod of the zipped folder.

If not making an omod...
unzip the file to a place of your choosing, drag the data folder into the oblivion folder and overwrite when prompted. If you are

switching from vanilla then you may need to use archive invalidation in OBMM or have it ticked in Nexus Mod Manager.

my grass ini....

[Grass]
iMinGrassSize=2
fGrassEndDistance=8000.0000
fGrassStartFadeDistance=7000.0000
bGrassPointLighting=0
bDrawShaderGrass=1
iGrassDensityEvalSize=2
iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=16
fWaveOffsetRange=1.7500
fGrassWindMagnitudeMax=30.0000
fGrassWindMagnitudeMin=1.0000
fTexturePctThreshold=0.3000

this will give a greater ground covering of flora but may slow older machines up..
also you will see plants growing though rocks etc occassionaly but I can live with that, you may not!

credits

I have used a couple of Brittainys spt files from one of her Lush and Gaudy mods. I dont as yet know how to manufacture these. (or how

to use speed tree..yet)

spts apart, feel free to use this mod how you like, you dont need to credit me.

Graphic enhancement

well I dont use enb as I just cannot get by with out liquid water, I use obge..bleach bypass,crisis dof, crisis ssao, godrays and

liquid water. All guaranteed to trash the fps on a less than decent card. Also sweet fx, god I love that programme! I use the bloom

extensively as I dont like hdr and the in game bloom messes with your lod (black distant rocks and buildings)
I would however be interested to see some enb images posted....please!

I hope you enjoy the environment I have strived to achieve.
