It seems most folks that go through the Dark Brotherhood Storyline see their characters as a "ninja" of sorts. I myself see my character as a much more european-style assasin, one who prefers his own safety and subtlety over panache. Carrying a small, dark sheild seemed to fit the bill. I noticed the shields in the game were all pretty large, and brightly colored.
Having not seen any sheild in the game that I found fitting for my Dark Brotherhood characters, I posted a [req] on the bethesda forums for a small, dark sheild that would blend well with the heavy atmospheric storylines and surroundings of the Dark Brotherhood. My request was met with little response(and perhaps, little interest) so I took it upon myself to fill my own need, so to speak. Bear in mind this is my 1st mod, of any sort, so it's very crude. For the first incarnation of this mod,I simply retextured the light iron sheild using some original artwork and part of the bethesda texture. This version features a completely custom mesh and texture work.

What this mod does:
Adds a small Buckler/armguard to the vendors of the Dark brotherhood sanctuary in cheydinal. It's slightly lighter than the light iron sheild with a marginally lower defense rating and total health. There is also an enchantment on the sheild similar to the enchantments found on the Dark Brotherhood armor/robe but with some block-centric attributes.
