About this mod

Ostian Enhanced brings new life to the capital of Nehrim's Southrealm. It revives the slum area, opens up many barred doors, and adds inhabitants, shops and a lot of new merchandise. There are new stalls at the market plaza and at the harbor, a buyable, well-furnished house of generous size.

"We have been at sea for one month already. Apart from the occasional landing due to stocking up on supplies and to find out the latest news, nothing special is happening. The crew gets a bit nervous; we have never been cut off from the world for so long. To be honest, we are not real sailors, but a group of traveling entertainers. We usually have a show at places where we are docking. We visit a lot of places, and so I gave my crew the idea to sail up to Nehrim. Personally, I have never been there, but one of my sailors said that he knew about a city in the south that would be suitable for our business."








Ostian Enhanced brings new life to the capital of Nehrim's Southrealm. It revives the slum area, opens up many barred doors, and adds inhabitants, shops and a lot of new merchandise. There are new stalls at the market plaza and at the harbor, a buyable, well-furnished house of generous size, and new interiors to the Guard Tower and the Federal Bureau for Fortune Restriction.
The ships at the harbor are now populated and accessible. The largest of the ships, the Southern Comfort, is home to a group of Entertainers whose presence poses a challenge to the strict moral codes of Ostians ruling class.
There are no quests in the mod, but it adds a book and some notes that add flavor and background to the lives of old and new NPCs. If you read these texts carefully, you' ll be able to find two more locations in the Southrealm where new treasures and enemies await you.

There is also included the German version of the mod (only esp).

Description
===========
This mod revives the city of Ostian, remove the barred doors, add a buyable house in the harbor and inhabits the ships in the harbor.

Ostian in the Southrealm.


Details
=======
To buy a house you have to contact Young Pestel in the Slums from 2 PM to 8 PM in his house. The information note is found on the entrance door. The basic price is 8000 Gold.
The house consist of the kitchen, sleeping loft, additional bed on the first floor, bathroom, and Mage's Cave.
During the night the windows are darkened so you have the feeling that the real night is fell.

Containers:
ALL CONTAINERS IN THE HOUSE ARE SAFE.

The new items can be purchased at "The Blind Coin", at the fish market in the harbor and Main market place.

The main amusement place is on the ship "The Southern Comfort" from 10 PM to 6 AM. Here you can find many new inhabitants who can't be encountered during the day time.

The mod add two new dungeons. The note for one place is in buyable house, for the second the information is in Captain's Logbook in Captain's Cabin on "The Southern Comfort".

Many of the new clothes are not playable, so don't kill the actor if you like his dress :), the main reason is because they are for many types of modified bodies and don't fit to the vanilla body, or there are only female or male variant. One of the reward armor have only the male version, but can be wear by females characters, the only thing that they will look a little flat :( .


Install
=======
The mod consist of Ostian Enhanced.bsa and Ostian Enhanced.esp.

1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Copy files to (install folder)\Nehrim\Data\
4. Start Nehrim Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the Ostian Enhanced.esp file.


Uninstall
=========
1.Remove Ostian Enhanced.bsa and Ostian Enhanced.esp from Data files.
2.Start Nehrim Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the Ostian Enhanced.esp file.

If you remove the mod, be sure to move all your goodies from the place.


Incompatibility
===============
With any mod that change the area of Ostian.


Bugs and issues
===============
The mod is tested during and after the events in Ostian and works fine. Some NPC can be stucked in daily activities, after some time they find a way. There can be lags on the Market Plaza because of over cluttering. The old residents of Ostian are not changed, they are scripted and don't want mess with them.
