In Vanilla Oblivion, no matter how fast the player move, enemies tightly adjust their direction to the player even while they are attacking, so moving sideways to dodge the attack is meaningless.
This mod fixes actors' direction during the attack to make dodging the attack sideways worthwhile. Moving backward is not the only way to dodge the attack!

This mod fixes the direction, and sets delay time between when actors start a melee attack animation and when their direction is fixed. During the delay time, they can change its direction. How long the delay time is depends on whether it is creature, whether it has any weapon, and the weapon speed. The length of the delay in each case can be adjusted by editing .ini file.
This effect is applied to the player and actors who are in combat against the player. The effect on the player can be turned off by editing .ini file.
Install
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy files to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
4. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file.
Uninstall
=========
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file.
2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod.
Incompatibility
===============
This mod is generally compatible with everything.
