About this mod

The Scroll of the Timescale: A scroll to set timescale in-game without using the console. I made this for immersion; using the console to keep changing the timescale really kills immersion, and being able to change the timescale \'dynamically\' in-game through a scroll seemed like a cool idea, so here it is! :)

Intro:

The Scroll of the Timescale: A scroll to set timescale in-game without using the console.
I made this for immersion; using the console to keep changing the timescale really kills immersion,
and being able to change the timescale 'dynamically' in-game through a scroll seemed like a cool
idea, so here it is! :)

Usage:

The scroll will be automatically added to your inventory, to use it, go to it and click on it,
it will open as a scroll/book, wherein the menu will be presented.

The menu allows for changing the timescale variable in-game (to preset values), and show its
current state.

The menu options (sofar) are:
- Real time (timescale=1)
- Slow speed (timescale=5)
- Half speed (timescale=15)
- Default speed (timescale=30)
- Ludicrous speed (timescale=60, reference to spaceballs)
- Done

Bugs:

Probably 2, both in timed quests; see http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/5859 for a possible fix
This mod should work nicely alongside the above mod, which claims to fix at least 2 timed missions.

So far i've only tested the scroll's functionality itself, and as far as i can tell there aren't any
other bugs being introduced. This mod uses 'unique' ID's, so it should be compatible with most
other mods.

Instalation:
Just copy to your oblivion\data folder, and activate the mod :)

Note:
The scroll also works when NOT in your inventory, but it still has to be 'read' (activated) to work.

update 1.0.1:
Menu interface changed, see screenshots :)
