About this mod

An updated version of Siegfried\'s Ruins of Miscarcand.

This is an update to Seigfried's wonderful mod, Ruins of Miscarcand. The original release was an alpha; he asked for people to check for bugs and such, but apparently no one was really interested. The first version didn't have a whole lot of issues - I've been using it for years - but there were some things that started to bug me, so I fixed them. Seigfried gave me his blessing to continue updating it, so thanks for that. :)

From the original readme:

The magical power of the great welkynd stone that resides within the old Capital City has altered and enchanted the surrounding lands, preserving the primordial jungle that once surrounded all of Cyrodiil. Located within a deep valley, hidden away from the rest of Tamriel lies beautiful Miscarcand-- the beauty that Camoran's Paradise attempts to imitate.

To access Miscarcand, just look for the archway entrance on the road to Kvatch.

This mod requires Shivering Isles.

**Changelog**

v1.2
* Changed the FormID for the interior and exterior doors (they're persistent references that were moved; this enables users to not have to make a clean save when updating).
* Made a few minor landscape edits in Ra'Sava Camp.

v 1.1
* Grounded several plants and containers.
* Unburied some buried plants and rocks.
* Adjusted the pillar beside the entrance steps to close a gap.
* Added a block at the base of one of the exterior sets of steps to close off another gap.

v1.0
* Grounded, disabled, or adjusted all the floating/buried objects around the edges of the valley.
* Fixed the entrance to the ruins so that the game doesn't crash when that cell loads.
* Cleaned the esp.

**Known Conflicts**

This mod will conflict with Miscarcand Expanded, as they both do the same thing. There's a minor conflict with The Ayleid Steps; one of the steps is located inside the valley, floating a few feet off the ground (it's still accessible and usable). I've been using this mod alongside ~170 other mods, including a full FCOM setup and many quest mods, and have noted no other conflicts.

**Contact**

I'm fairly sure I got everything; if you find something that needs attention, let me know and I'll see what I can do. You can contact me here or on the Bethsoft forums as WalkerInShadows.
