My second quest mod, done as a request for ElderScrollsFan001 to make a quest for Excalibur that was released on the Nexus by JDan and modeled by TheMackie. My second quest mod, done as a request for ElderScrollsFan001 to make a quest for Excalibur that was released on the Nexus by JDan and modeled by TheMackie. The quest has you take on the trials of the nine to claim Excalibur. It will not be easy though, once you enter a trial you cannot leave until it's completed. You will face puzzles, platforming, and some nasty enemies.
To start the quest you need at least 20 fame.
//Starting the Quest//
Once you reach 20 fame, you should get a quest update message.
//Trials//
The quest contains nine trials one for each of the nine divines. To complete the quest you must advance through each one. Here's some tips you should look at:
1-Once you enter an unfinished trial you cannot leave until it is completed. Be prepared for anything.
2-Healing is a must. I was able to do it with the minor healing spell but just barely.
3-In trials where you have to search for items, check everywhere. Some are scripted to pop-up
when you get close enough.
4-Use the terrain to your advantage. A few trials are combat based, using the world as a shield can save your life.
5-In the final trial conserve ammo and aim for the head.
6-The quest has a point of no return, once the final trial is completed all items in the cells will
be lost. If you dropped anything important make sure you get them before entering the final portal.
7-Be nice. The quest reward's attack depends on your fame AND level. At level 100, with 100 fame, the sword will have an Attack Power of 50. There's also a certain trial that might be difficult for evil characters.
