1.ABOUT
-----------------------------------------------------------------

This one wasn't planned - I worked out the Dark UI Loading Screens and realized a had a handful of resources - images, methods, and so forth, that might be of use to other modders. I decided to stick them together, and this is the result. It contains a the image resources necessary to create your own load screens similar to Bethesda's own, or in my own Dark UI style.

The project was designed with Photoshop in mind. That's just a side-effect of my own knowledge - I only know Photopshop, so can't really write it for PSP or The Gimp. I have, however, included bitmap versions of the three basic resources. They aren't as versatile as the .psd versions (a limitation of format), but should still be useful for someone working with another graphic design ap.

Feel free to distribute plugins using these resources. If you use my Dark UI frame, please include credit. That knotwork is hand-drawn, and represents quite a bit of work.

1.0 - Original Release

Now, here's a tip for all the Photoshop users who actually read to the end of a readme. If you extract the texture files, you'll find that in \textures\menus\loading, Bethesda (accidentally?) left one of their source files - load_troll.psd. All of the layers are still seperate, making it an invaluable resource, both for the contents of the individual layers and for examining the design process.
