About this mod
In-Game Books for Console Codes: NPC, Item, Location, and Book & Scroll codes.
- Permissions and credits
- A Guide to "Books & Scrolls": This book contains the id codes for all the books and scrolls I've found available.
- A Guide to "Items": This book contains 4 sections of different items: Ingredients, Miscellaneous, Alchemy Tools, and Weather. Yes, I know weather is not an item, but since the book was shorter than the rest and the weather codes are so few, I thought what the hell.
- A Guide to "Locations": This contains the id codes for different locations around Cyrodiil, transporting you instantly to many locations, inside and out, without a moment lost in game time. Cool, huh?
- A Guide to "NPCs": This contains the id codes for non-player characters in the game.
- UPDATE: A Guide to "Commands": I've just added this new book that shows and explains the many commands used in the console to help alter and control game play.
The reason I've composed these volumes is so that one would not have to go in and out of the game in order to find a code, if they needed one, and then back in. Just pull up a chair and put on your reading glasses and have a scan through my reference tomes.
INSTALLATION: Extract the single file "Adventurer's Guides.esp" to your DATA folder in your Oblivion directory. Start the game launcher, (or my OBLOM Play-Mate, or one of the other very cool mod managers available), check the "Adventurer's Guides.esp" file, and start your game.
SIDE NOTE: If there are any more of these books you'd like me to add to the library, leave me a message and, when I have a free moment, I'll see what I can do.
Also, if anyone knows how to bypass the scroll length limitation from within a mod, or knows that I am doing something wrong, please leave me a message and I'll quickly fix it and make all of these books into scrolls, so as to make it so much easier to get to the info. - Thanks.
