SHIVERING ISLE REQUIRED for this version.

This mod puts a shop called The Raven’s Nest in the small village of Weye, on the outskirts of the Imperial City. From the gates of the Imperial City, Talos Plaza District, cross the bridge past the Wawnet Inn. As you go toward the ruined fort, on the left stands the shop.

For female characters and companions this mod features new designs of the standard armors which I have chopped and cropped from the standard Oblivion meshes. Available to the player are some things that were previously marked unplayable, _gnd files and icons have been made for them.

The Shivering Isle Trader is in the basement.

NOTES
******************
Several meshes are female only and carry the * (asterisk) at the end of the item name. The area they are linked to will just disappear if equipped by a male character.

The Vendor Boxes are set to respawn, don't sell anything you may want to get back. The containers, dressers, crates etc. are safe to store your things in; they will not respawn.

I made three belts which are equipped as amulets, while wearing these if you put on an amulet the belts will disappear.

There are a couple of sets of armor where the male mesh hasn’t been changed. The difference is in the female ones. In, that there was a male counter part for that changed female garment I went ahead & included the standard male mesh and made it part of the set, even though some armor, such as fur, is readily available in the beginning. Also, there are meshes, that for the sake of grouping & having the whole set available, I have given the eq labeling though there have been no changes.

The heavy armors and weapons have been reduced in weight but they still carry the heavy armor class. The leather greaves and black cloth pants have been tapered to fit the "Boots II" of various armor sets. Several male armor items were set up so female characters shared the male meshes, consiquently they looked bulky and oversized. I took and fit these to the female shape.

Several of my _gnd files, are not characteristic of the vanilla clothing _gnd files which, if they are cloth for example, will bend if you pick them up. I have left learning about hinging for another time. I do not think it will diminish from this mod.

Keys to the shop are under a back yard rock.

CONTACT INFORMATION
********************
This is my second release; I have checked the mod over many times but if you have any issues and need to ask questions, my email address is [email protected] I will try to reply and help with any problems you may have, otherwise I can be found on the Bethesda Forums.

CREDITS
*******************
Thank you to everyone on the various Oblivion Forums and Sites. Thanks to kalia & Floydian1 for the idea of the naming convention they used in their mod BAB_kfclothes, a great way to keep items of your mod together. With this mod I learned more about Blender, NifScope and Gimp. Thanks to everyone who answered questions or pointed out tutorials. And last but not least thank you Bethesda for giving us the ability to create these mods in the first place.

Any part of this mod, The Raven's Nest, you may take and recreate & publish, the only thing I ask is to give me credit for my work.

CONFLICTS
*******************
If you have any mod that adds to or changes the area half way between Weye and the old fort, and the Wawnet Inn this mod may conflict with them. Raven's Nest appears to be compatable with kalikuts_raretradegoods2_0. If there is a conflict try working with the load order.

INSTALL
******************
You can do a manual install by unpacking to another location then copy the files into the data folder of your Oblivion Directory checking the The Raven's Nest.esp in the launcher data list.

C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data is the default location.

Making a back-up of your saved game before you try a new mod is always a good practice.

UNINSTALL
******************
To begin an uninstall uncheck the .esp file then remove all files & folders in the data folder that have EQ or RavensNest attached to them. There will be files in the Meshes and Texture folders. Also in the Texture\menu\icon folder.

May you enjoy this mod as much as I enjoyed creating it.
