The Might of The Imperial Legion
=========================================================================================

Forts all across Cyrodiil, which once housed the troops of The Imperial Legion, lie in ruin. Some abandoned for thousands of years. Many of these forts are in strategic locations, such as Fort Nikel, right on the doorstep of the Imperial City. Others are far flung outposts. That however is no excuse for the lack of housing for soldiers and the same bland fort tile set that was used for every single fort.

This mod aims to remake, rebuild, and redesign the fort ruins across Cyrodiil. I for one am sick of seeing the same tan towers left to rot across the Empire. I plan on focusing mainly on the surface structures of the forts. To break up the monotony of adventure, some interiors will be redone as well. In "high activity areas", areas that are home to some UL mods or other popular mods I will try to keep the foot print of the new foot the same as the old to avoid conflicts. Some forts will be completely rebuilt and house Imperial Legion Troops, and some will be left as bandit strongholds. If you have any weird attachment to any of the dungeons I plan on releasing each Fort as a separate modular ESP by region, i.e. Lake Rumare Forts, Colovian Highland, etc.

Packages
=========================================================================================

Fort Strand- This package will be left as a single Fort ESP, to give you an idea as to what I'm talking about, and to give me a launching point for ideas, comments, and bug hunting. This can be considered the "Trial Fort".

Gold Coast Forts- This package includes a redone Crowhaven, Fort Wariel, Fort Sutch, and Dasek Moor.

Imperial Reserve- WIP This Package covers the Forts of the Imperial Reserve, located NE of Kvatch and SW of Chorral. Planned Forts are: Hastrel, Linchal, Dirich, and Ontus.

Description
=========================================================================================

Fort Strand.
She stands as a once proud bastion of Law and Order, now her stone walls collect mold and are slowly crumbling into Gold Coast. The salty sea air breaks apart the mortar and tiles fall haphazardly from her roof. A proud relic from a day long past. Her old bones can't rest quite yet for unlawful individuals make her once strong walls their home.

Crowhaven
The stronghold of the Lovidicus Family. Honor bound by the first count of Anvil to guard against Northern aggression and to keep the coasts safe. For hundreds of years this massive citadel has protected the northern Gold Coast, until only recently however. It was rumored the maid murdered Lord Lovidicus, and fled into the night never to be seen again. This fate is true for most adventurers fool enough to enter with out a torch... or weapon.

Fort Wariel
The Sacking of Wariel still haunts the memories of those of County Kvatch. Long before the Oblivion crisis claimed one of Cyrodiil's largest cities and left a scar on the survivors a different group of people were suffering a crisis of their own. The village of Wariel was an unremarkable one. Poor, small and staffed by a small barracks of guards bearing the honorable crest of County Kvatch. That however didn't stop an unknown group of assailants from tearing into it like a pack of wolves into a fresh cut of meat.

Fort Sutch
Once the seat of County Sutch, a small independent hold located in the northern reaches of the Gold Coast. Fort Sutch was lost in a great battle. One not held in fields and waged by men, but a battle behind large ornate doors waged by accountants and cartographers. When the new lines of County Kvatch and County Anvil were drawn the fort was considered a waste of money and it's doors shut and the county dissolved. The only thing remaining of the old county is the main tower of the fort and a still inhabited abby.

Dasek Moor
This ruin has baffled Imperial archeologists for decades. It was originally believed to be an old Colovian mine turned underground fortress, but recent theories speculate that it was an ancient Dwemer outpost, perhaps built on their fabled march to Hammerfell. This however is only wild speculation.
