This is V2 of my steel shield replacer. I like this one much better than my previous one. Hope you like it too:)
Details
=======
The previous version clipped a little with the original steel armor, and because I had no idea how to fix it, I searched for a new mesh to use. I found this awesome shield at http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34623 by CaesarLoneWolf and thought it would be good as a replacer. I'm not good at texturing so it's mostly copy/paste work. Includes new inventory icon.
Install
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy meshes and textures to your Oblivion data directory.
(+Might need archive invalidation)
Uninstall
=========
1. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod:
Data\Meshes\Armor\Steel\shield.nif
Data\Textures\Armor\Steel\shield.dds
Data\Textures\Armor\Steel\shield_n.dds
Data\Textures\menus\icons\Armor\Steel\shield.dds
Incompatibility
===============
Incompatible with other steel shield replacers. Also glitches with "Shield on Back", if you use that mod, the shield on your back is apparently the same as the old one with another texture. (Thanks to KillerHell for reporting this)
