DESCRIPTION
Why go into battle using the same iron shield everyone else uses? Cutthroat Mods Iron Battle Shields allows the warrior type character to express himself with color and flair. There are 11 to chose from.
WHAT IT DOES
Adds 11 recolored shields for sale at Stonewall Shields in the Imperial City Market District. The shields have the exact stats and prices of the default iron shields. After all, that's what they are --- iron shields --- with a few coats of paint slapped on. As such, these are specifically suited for beginner characters, but anyone can use them. My primary character is a pretty high level knight with great skill at blocking, so he has the luxury of being able to chose style over functinality --- and he SWEARS by Viator Accius' new Battle Shields!
INSTALLATION
Install the contents of the supplied Data folder into your own Data directory within your main Oblivion folder.
BUGS & CONFLICTS
Should be none, as I have created a new container specifically for this mod. If you do find any problems however please PM me at the offical forums under MarkQUinn.
REVISION HISTORY
Version 1.1 - Added new meshes which fixed the problem of the shield face textures "leaking through" on the handle. Many, many thanks to Grumblepunk for providing these new meshes (and for making it a two step fix --- step 1, open the meshes folder, step 2, drop 'em in. Even I can handle that!). You can do the same with your version or just install everything I've provided here, as it will overwrite the old meshes.
