About this mod

Adds an artifact that will save the player from death

Permissions and credits
Update - something I forgot that may be mildly important - whenever your create a horcrux, you'll pay for it with 2 points of willpower (in addition to the gold and soulgem - hey, immortality ain't cheap). Those are NON-FEFUNDABLE - you won't get them back when you cast the Renew spell

!HOW TO INSTALL!

Extract to your oblivion data folder

Description

Done on request, this mod adds an item - the Horcrux - that will kick in when the player is about to die and teleport him to the archmage's lobby in the Imperial City.

!How to get the horcrux!

To get the horcrux you need to follow these simple steps

1.Kill an innocent (the same way you trigger the dark brotherhood quest)
2.Have a grand soul gem filled with a grand soul and 10 000 gold
3.Cast the spell that you recieved when you killed the innocent (it's called Horcrux) - you'll lose the soulgem, the gold and 2 points of willpower. All non-refundable.

!How to use!

To use the Horcrux simply keep it in your inventory.
Next time you're about to die, the Horcrux will teleport you to the Archmage's Lobby in the Imperial City and disappear.

It will also cost you 20 points of Strength, Endurance & Personality

!How to regain my attributes!

To regain your attributes you need to go to the Howling Cave (east and a bit south of Skingrad) and pick up a book from a chest somewhere in there.
The book will give you a spell called Renew.
It will also inform you of the ingredients you need to cast the spell.
Apart from those ingredients you'll also need another 10 000 gold to cast that spell

!KNOWN ISSUES!

1.Theoretically it's possible for you to die even if you have the item. The way it works, it teleports you if you hit 10 or under HP. However if you suffer heavy damage when you're low on health you will die before the script gets a chance to kick in. Unless you're a fan of skydiving, this shouldn't happen often (if at all) but just to be on the safe side, don't forget the F5 button.

I think that's about it
