1. INFORMATION ON THE MOD
************************************************************************
This mod makes it so it is almost always foggy. This is useful if you like the
atmosphere fog provides or want to hide ugly LOD and VWD problems.

Morrowind made good use of fog to hide things in the distance. This technique
improved frame rate and graphic appearance of the world. There was no problem with grass
growing on bare ground as you walked closer to it or fort ruins suddenly popping into
existence as you got close enough to them.

Some Visible When Distant mods can cause terrible performance on some computers,
so it might be good to hide things in the distance rather than make them visible if your
computer is like that. Of course, you could turn your viewing distance down on your in-game
slider bars, but that tends to look kind of bad. In my opinion, fog is more natural-looking
and immersive than having the computer just clip off everything that is a certain distance
from you. Fog blends and shades and you don't end up with sharp razor-edged boundaries
betweenwhat can be seen and what cannot be seen.

This mod only edits the Cyrodiil area in the Tamriel worldspace. It makes it so
it is foggy 90% of the time, and normal weather from the region you are in is present 10% of
the time.

This mod only makes about two edits to the game. This explains why the file size
is so small.

To avoid hard conflicts with mods that remove borders, this mod also removes
borders. This can show up as a mod conflict on reports, but it is of no concern because this
mod makes exactly the same edit as the other mods and things will work properly when playing
Oblivion regardless of the load order of the effected mods.

So if you like fog, or are not satisfied with how things in the distance look and
how fast your game runs, this might be a good mod for you.

2. Installation
************************************************************************
Extract (decompress) the .esp to your Oblivion directory.
The default is: C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\
Mark the box next to the "Always Foggy" plugin in your mod manager.

Alternately, extract someplace else. Then move the .esp to Oblivion\Data. If
asked if it is okay to merge folders, say yes. Mark the box next to the plugin in your mod
manager.

To improve performance, you may want to remove your DistantLOD files from Visible
When Distant mods you have installed in the past. Those are sometimes what cause the lag, not
the .esp that you unchecked in your file manager. You might also turn down your viewing
distance with the in-game slider bars, if you are still yearning for better performance. Set
things up so that you only hide things that are beyond the viewing distance allowed by the fog.

4. Conflicts, Known Issues, and Troubleshooting
************************************************************************
Since this mod only edits the Cyrodiil part of the Tamriel worldspace, you could
encounter clear weather when in a city.

This mod does not add fog to the Shivering Isles, the areas outside of Cyrodiil, and
the cities and special worldspaces.

If you locate a bug, contact David Brasher on TES Nexus so that the situation can be
examined and can hopefully be fixed.
