This here's a mod I made. Its more of a test for me than any kind of output for you. This is basically my practice mod for adding Google Sketchup (thats right folks, the FREE version) files into Oblivion. I spent countless hours trying to figure it out from random online tutorials, and finally after much toil, successfully added a Sketchup file into Oblivion. (With Collision too!)
Many of you know that Blender is a primary modeling tool for adding meshes into Oblivion. Well, I started out knowing G SketchUp better. Its definitely an easier program for the average newb modder to get their head around, in terms of creating 3d meshes. With this in mind, hopeful as I was to find a way around learning the complicated 3d programs such as 3ds MAX and Blender, I began searching for a solution. This mod is purely an example of what you can do with Google Sketchup models.
The written tutorial for this is now up: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=40238
