Description
===============
"The mountains are cold, and the people are colder. In the frozen north, there exists a small village by the name of eagles pass. It’s inhabitants are not used to seeing outsiders. They all look to their chieftain for guidance and advice. They all look to their hunter for survival. However, their peaceful village lies on top of a conspiracy bigger than any of them could imagine. There are secrets buried in the hills surrounding Eagles Pass. The Horrors of the past, are resurfacing once again and bringing a curse upon the fair villages of the mountain village. Only an outsider can possibly save them, or can they?"

This is the village of eagles pass is built in a little valley just bellow the statue to the deadric god Hermaeus Mora. There are a host of npc’s living there and they all have unique things to say and quests to give. This mod is focused on the story, and not as much on the graphical workings of the village.

Features
-------------
The village features seven npc’s and a handful of other characters that live outside of the village walls. Each npc has their own personality and take on life in general. Some are far more interested in the day to day proceedings of the village and some are not. Just talk to them and see where it goes. Every npc has a schedule that they keep. There are no guilds or shops in the village. this is because of their isolation that no one in their right mind would pass through the spot as a trading route.
There are twelve quests for you to undertake in Part I of the A Saints Tale Story. They are all voiced and scripted and take you across cyrodiil in search of the answers to the puzzles of what is going on in this cursed little village.

Planned

As for future plans, Part two of the mod is Legend of San Kor which will be released towards the end of the summer. Won’t say much on its story, but should explain all the answers that were left open at the end of eagles pass…
Part Three would be: A Saints tale: Rebirth and that one is set 200 years in the future :) just to the north of eagles pass in the province of Skyrim.And this one continues the story and takes it in another direction.

Location
-------------
The village occupies a small area (relatively) in the valley south of Hermaeus Mora’s shrine.
There is also a ruin that is added by this mod on the opposite side of the river from the imperial bridge inn
There is a house in chyedinhall near the castle and the wall that acts as an alchemist shop
There is one house added to weye and another added to Pells gate.

Requirements
-------------
This file requires ASTM V 3.0
This means that you need to download the eagles pass version 6.0 file and ONE of the ASTM files provided on the downloads page!

There are two versions provided!
-The FULL version has ALL of the meshes and textures required by this mod!
-The No LS version has ALL of the meshes and textures EXCEPT those added by the Lost Spires!
You do NOT need to dl both! Just ONE or the OTHER!
*** The purpose of the NO LS version is to allow those players who have downloaded the Lost Spires Mod and Resources not to re-download the meshes and textures that came with the Lost Spires.


Install
-------------
1. Open the 7z file
2. Enter the various sub folders until you find the 'meshes, textures, esp files, ect.
3. Extract all files mentioned above to... (Install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
4. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a check-mark beside the .esp file.

Uninstall
-------------
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file.
2. There are no meshes/textures for this mod uniquely; all meshes/textures are handled by the CSRM

Upgrade
-------------
First Public Version, no upgrade required

Compatibility
===============
Should be compatible with most mods; have not tested it with a large variety of mods... so any reports are appreciated… it is assumed that there might be need for patches with some of the unique landscape mods that affect the imperial isles and the surrounding areas

Known Issues
-------------
None at the moment

Incompatibility
-------------
the land height will be off if you use AFK Weye or any other Weye mod with this mod… it is not a major issue, just a minor graphical bug
The door to the cheydinhall alchemist will have a boulder halfway covering it if you use better cities; this is not a major issue just use the console to disable the boulder

History

6-0 : 7/13/11 – Re-release of the original version in addition to a host of graphical updates and spelling/grammar corrections.
5-9 : 3/23/09 – This was the previous public version that was removed from nexus for an unknown reason. I had been waiting to re-release this at a time when Legend of Kor is closer to being ready for a release
5-6 : 2/17/09 – This was the first fully working version including all 12 quests. At this point he mod was voiced, but had no links to the series as a whole, so I went through and added quite a few ‘tie ins’ to make it flow better.
1-5 : 11/25/08 – this version included a buggy version of quest five, so was removed due to this reason…
1-0 : 11/8/08 – This was the first public offering of the original four quests.

Dragon Captions is an active modding team. This meaning that our work is still being modified. With that being said; it is always in YOUR best interest to let me know what you are planning on doing. The last thing you or I want is to have a version incompatibility and all of your work goes to waste. So let me know beforehand :)

Now with that out of the way; Translations are fine with me; feel free to let me know if you are so inclined to translate a DC mod. If you wish to make an additional mod for a DC project let me know :) if you wish to make a different version of a current dc mod; let me know so that i can make suggestions or incorporate your idea into the main mod :)
