Skyrim Banded Iron Shield Version 2.0
Description:
This mod adds a completely new shield to the game. It's based off a Banded Iron Shield from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The same one dragonborn is using in the trailer.
Location:
version 1.0 it can be found in a chest in the imperial city market district.
Version 2.0 it can only be purchased or stolen from Olfand. A Nord who owns a shop called Nord Winds in Bruma.
Notes:
The polygonal count on the mesh is huge, I've had no problems running it so far against dozens of guards but I would imagine people using older hardware will struggle.
Change Log:
Version 2.0 - Edited mesh to reduce the spiral protrusion from the shield (they stick out a bit less). Edited UV's of Spirals and Bands.They now show the Nordic Glyphs a lot clearer. Edited texture of Shield.dds to include a varnished wood apearance to the back of the shield. Created new normal and glow maps for a more realistic metal look with surface scratches and a good balance of shine/shadow.
Installation:
Unzip the .rar file to your Oblivion\Data\ folder - Overwrite if prompted
Enable the data file
