Pretty nonstandard and detailed clothes in which I modeled many details. Quite provocative but it was made for my vampire like character anyway.
Location
========
At Bravil North Gate, INSIDE the city. Use your brains and figure out where the chest is located from the screenshots. I don't even want to hear any complaints about it being hard to find!
Details
=======
I really enjoy modeling so I took the liberty of modeling lots of folds into these clothes. I also baked some nice ambient occlusion maps and used them as the base of the textures. Because of this the clothes should look more realistic than the standard oblivion ones.
They are quite provocative but I tried to keep it to a limit.
I DON'T even want to hear anything about the clothes being too sexy. I've seen much more skimpier clothes than this one.
The sandals have a lot of polygons but they look very realistic. I modeled them very precisely. And guess what? I didn't use any "high tech" tools that you can find in other professional modeling program to achieve this. Only subdivide/extrude/knife tool/edge loop cut. If they had a better texture they would probably be poser quality. At least the model itself should be poser like quality.
I also modeled a detailed cross and jewelery with vivid textures. The cross is actually very detailed and it has an almost uninterrupted wireframe in blender which means that is very nicely modeled. I could have made it have a proper wireframe but it would have increased the polycount way too much. This one is quite precisely modeled too in blender. The hardest part was to make the tips of the cross with the 3 jewels because it wasn't symmetric so I had to use the grid and to move a lot of vertices at precise locations using the keyboard to enter the locations in numbers.
The hand wrappings are pretty detailed too. I like to model deformations and such straight into my models rather than spending hour browsing the internet or wasting my time in photoshop trying to draw them for which I don't have any talent or patience.
Install
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy files to (install folder)\Oblivion\
4. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the CB Elegant Dress.esp file.
Incompatibility
===============
It probably doesn't work with Better Cities because of the location I placed them. I don't have better cities,it doesn't work for me because my oblivion installation. I can't afford to reinstall the game because I have all my work in my oblivion directory. But you can always disable the mod,get the stuff from the chest and then enable it again.
Other than that,it should be compatible with many other mods. If it doesn't work with one or two mods here and there, then it's not a serious issue and I won't bother to update the mod again and annoy the people that use it already just for the sake of one or two mods.
I don't care about supporting a million bodies! I just like this one and that's all. I can make another mod with the time wasted converting this to the other bodies mods! And I won't make any bigger breast size than this. I've worked too much on this and I like it just the way it is.
Known Issues or Bugs
====================
It clips a lot. There is absolutely nothing that can be done about this. Or it's not worth the effort.
