Description

This mod adds a brand new quest to the game. In order to start it you have to find the Templar Headquarters, that are located north-east of Leyawiin, along the yellow road. Once there speak to Efremor, who is the Templar Master, and you will be offered to join the Templar Order. You will start as an Apprentice, but soon you will be given a
series of tasks that will make you rise in rank once completed. When you will be promoted to the level of "Equerry" (the second rank in the row), you will be allowed to spar with Sabella, the personal trainer of the Templar Knights. She will spar with you using her bare hands, her dagger, her longsword and shield, or her claymore depending on your choice. Note that she will actually hurt you while exercising (this to add a little bit more realism to the game, I thought it was extremely boring to spar with NPCs that do not hurt you). She has many health points, so that she will not be knocked down very easily. Obviously you can't kill her, but she can kill you, so be prepared to surrender (i.e., activate Sabella while parrying) as soon as your healthbar gets too short (I think this is the real training for players: check your healthbar before it's too late) and she will quit the fight immediately. She was conceived to spar with players that are at least around level 25 or above, and wearing a good armor, if you do not meet these requirements perhaps you should wait until you get them before crossing your sword with her, she could beat you pretty badly otherwise...

Once you complete the first part of the quest (The Templar Order) you will activate the second part (Armageddon), which is actually the one you have been prepared to deal with all along. At the end of the quest named "Armageddon" you will meet... well, I don't want to spoil my story here, it's up to you to find out everything by speaking to my NPCs and reading the journals and books I have written.
Upon completion of the first quest you will earn 3 fame points, and upon completion of the second you will earn 7 fame points and activate a third short quest that will act as a small additional reward to your efforts up to that point.

Details
=======

This mod adds full sets of Templar Apprentice armor, Templar Knight armor, Teutonic
Knight armor and a full set of the armor worn by the final boss you'll meet at the end of the quest entitled "Armageddon".
Both male and female versions are available for all the armors above with the only exception of the last one (only male).
As regards weapons, this mod adds Templar and Teutonic longswords and a powerful claymore which will be the weapon used
by the final boss.
The new armors and longswords are only slightly better than the Daedric ones. The claymore is one of the most powerful
two-handed swords you can get without spoiling the balance of the game.
Nothing is enchanted apart from the claymore, this because I wanted to leave to the players the freedom of
choosing their favoured enchantments.
Apart from some new houses and a plethora of new NPCs this mod also adds a series of new dungeons to explore
(e.g., a couple of caves, a fort, an Ayleid ruin...) and a new world: "The Otherworld".

Important Note
==============

After killing the final boss (Tsyrkis) and leaving the Otherworld you will break the link between this latter dimension and the real world (Tamriel),
so be careful not to leave any valuable stuff (or companions) in the Otherworld because you'll have no longer the possibility to get back there after Tsyrkis'death!

Install
=======

First of all be certain to have the latest patch to the game installed (patch 1.2.0416), then do as follows:

1. Extract ALL the contents of this archive (i.e. meshes, Textures, Sound, Armageddon.esp, Armageddon_v1.8 Readme.txt) into your Oblivion's "Data" folder, then click "yes to all".
(when extracting with 7.zip be sure NOT to select the options "rename" or "do not overwrite")(note: as you can see below all my subfolders have unique names, so there is absolutely
no risk to overwrite any of your files).

2. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, and enable "Armageddon.esp"

NOTE: if you have already installed one of the previous versions of "Armageddon" just overwrite the old files with the new ones.

If you experienced some problems with a previous version of Armageddon then after installing the latest version
you might have to reset the quest (i.e. disable "Armageddon" from your data files, launch the game, save, exit,
enable "Armageddon" again) in order to have them solved. However, in most cases, you'll probably have just to reload
a saved game occurring before your last quest update, and the last quest stage will then work without problems.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NON-ENGLISH LOCALIZED VERSIONS:
If you have one of the non-English localized versions of Oblivion (i.e. Italian, French, German or Spanish)
you will have to change the names of the folders placed in the directory \Data\Sound\Voice\Armageddon.esp\
If you don't do so you will not be able to hear the voice files.
You have to translate the folders in your directory \Data\Sound\Voice\Armageddon.esp\
into your local language (see below).
The folders are originally named: Breton, High Elf, Imperial, Nord and Redguard,
in order to be compatible with the more widely distributed English versions.
So, for example, if you have the localized Italian version of Oblivion you have just to rename these folders
as follows: Elfo supremo, Guardiarossa, Imperiale (Breton and Nord stay the same).
I do not know the race names used in other localized versions, so in case you have one of those you should
find out by yourself. Its pretty easy if you have installed Oblivion Mod Manager, you have just to browse the
two OblivionVoices BSA archives in order to find out (the names you need are listed like this: sound\voice\oblivion.esm\RACENAMEYOUNEED\etc...).
Alternatively, if you dont have OMM but you have the Construction Set installed you can open an esp (whichever you chose will do, just do not save)
expand the NPCs (under actors) and look for the first adventurer AdventurerOrcBattlemage01, double click on him, his window will open,
and then select dialogues (lower left in the window). A new window will open, then go to the box named Response text,
double click on that line of dialogue and one last window will open showing all the possible names for your races, it should not be difficult
to figure out which ones correspond to the races I used above.

Uninstall

Incompatibility
===============
- This mod IS NOT compatible with "Aberwiin manor" mod.
- Most likely this mod IS NOT compatible with Open cities-Leyawiin (I didn't try it, but OC likely makes Sonia's house disappear).
- This mod IS compatible with Unique Landscapes. However, four modules, namely xulAncientRedwoods, xulAncientYews, xulArriusCreek, and xulAspenWood must be placed before Armageddon in the load order (this can be easily done through Oblivion Mod Manager).
- This mod has a conflict with Blood and Mud 2 English version (B&M2), because of a bridge being located in the same area as one of the buildings from my mod, if you have B&M2 installed you'll have to temporarily disable collisions via a console command in order to enter Murk Grumoll's house.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================

Sometimes there are some problems when asking Sabella to spar with you, because
she doesn't equip the weapon you asked her to and she keeps the one already in
her hands instead, sometimes she even keeps her shield while fighting with her fists, her
claymore or her dagger.
Also the "check your gear" commands sometimes fails to perform correctly and
the NPCs might "forget" to equip some of their items. The solution to both glitches
is asking the NPC a second time to do what you want (i.e. equip a claymore,
repair his/her gear etc.). These glitches are all due to a bug present in the
construction set and that shows up every time one uses a script asking a NPC to
equip/uneqip multiple objects (e.g., to repair the NPC's gear the script substitutes
all his old stuff with brand new one, unfortunately giving a hammer and a high
armorer skill to a NPC does not work... they would not repair anything and you would eventually
see their armor fall to pieces).

It may happen that Marcus' helmet becomes either very shiny or very dark (especially during a rainy day).
This bug is related to the "follower's double-face bug" that can sometime affect any of your companions.
To fix it you simply have to install the latest version of the Unofficial Oblivion Patch and use the spell
that fixes the double face (fix follower double-face bug). Please note that sometimes that spell
works only if your follower is actually following you (i.e., it might not work if the companionis told
to wait somewhere)

Some of Tsyrkis' minions sometimes are lazy and won't attack you right away. If this happens, and you are up for a fight,
just attack them first ;)

If you experience any other problem/bug please report it/them on my forum thread
(link is provided on the webpage where you downloaded this mod).
