ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:
This mod is both a player home and a full questline that continues the Thieves Guild story. After becoming the Gray Fox and assuming responsibility for the Thieves Guild, there is still more to be done. Complete contracts for clients and help your guild combat a new threat in Cyrodiil, while residing in a fully equipped hideout/player home. Steal valuable items, manage the Thieves Guild's operations, recruit new members to see an increase in profit, and solve the mystery that threatens the Thieves Guild and the rest of Cyrodiil.

NEW DESCRIPTION:
I've modified PunkStevo's original Thieves Guild HQ in the following ways:

* Moved Big Tony's Deli to a location that is more compatable with Unique Landscapes, but is still for non-UL use. (Note that to use with UL, I recommend that you use LandMagic to fix the relatively minor land tear right near Big Tony's. The esp is using the vanilla land height at the cell's edge there for non-UL users.)

* Split up the interior of the Thieves Guild HQ so that the first and second floors are in different cells. This fixes the incompatibility with Weather - All Natural's modified .nif files for the floors themselves at the cost of a load door. (The walk-through walls in the middle of the room problem.) Note: This also reduces the FPS slowdown that some lesser computers have complained of while trying to move through the HQ.
- Added some illumination near the new load door (up/down the stairs) since the door blocks off some of the light from the other level.
- Modified AI packages to refer to places in the first or second floor interiors instead of to "HQ"
- Had to create new NPC references to put them in the appropriate interior (first or second floor), since I could not simply move the originals into a different cell. Note that this breaks upgradability for users that have started the mod's quests! Mod must be installed after the old version has been removed and a clean save has been performed. Otherwise, you will not see many of the NPC's that you have already recruited for the Thieves Guild around the HQ.
- Modified all of the scripts/quests referring to the Profit Box so that they now referred to the new Profit Box on the first floor.(Did the same for the sigil device.)

* Removed some of the structural elements (boards and such) in the first floor of the HQ and replaced them with fewer elements to reduce the FPS slowdown.

* When Armand first tells you of the Bravil HQ and says that he will mark it on your map - now he does.

INSTALLATION:

Recommended install instructions:

1. Install Punk Stevo's Thieves Guild HQ - Unhealthy Competition mod.
2. Copy the "Steve - Thieves Guils HQ.esp" from this archive and install it on top of the original one in the Data directory.
3. Run BOSS.
If you use Wrye Bash's Bashed Patch:
4. Rebuild Wrye Bash's Bashed Patch.
5. Run LandMagic.exe (or LandMagic_x64.exe if you can). Click the "Do the Magic" button. When it's done, close LandMagic. Enable the LandMagicPatch.esp that it created.

Recommended update instructions:

1. Remove your personal possessions from the Thieves Guild HQ.
2. Disable the "Steve - Thieves Guils HQ.esp".
3. Load your save game(s) that have used this mod, and make a clean save without it.
4. Copy the "Steve - Thieves Guils HQ.esp" from this archive and install it on top of the original one in the Data directory.
5. Run BOSS.
If you use Wrye Bash's Bashed Patch:
6. Rebuild Wrye Bash's Bashed Patch.
7. Run LandMagic.exe (or LandMagic_x64.exe if you can). Click the "Do the Magic" button. When it's done, close LandMagic. Enable the LandMagicPatch.esp that it created.
