About this mod

Powerful staffs that take runes from you instead of running on a charge.

Permissions and credits
Rune Powered Staffs

Next update coming either Saturday or Sunday, should be a pretty big update. Should be able to get all the stuff on the to do list done.

Adds a new twist to staffs. These new powerful staffs are powered by runes which can be found in some vendors and in most dungeons. Some staffs require more runes than others to balance their power out. Current types of runes are as follows:
Fire rune - Powers fire type magic.
Lightning rune - Powers electric type magic.
Ice rune - Powers ice type magic.
Eternal rune - Powers special staffs that have a permanent effect on their target. (As of right now, there is only 1 staff which does this.)

Staff levels are as follows in order of least powerful to most powerful.
Simple
Basic
(No prefix)
Powerful
Master

Most staff vendors should sell staffs as they have been added to the auto generated store contents. The Staff of Eternal Burden has been added to Rindir's staffs as a one time buy but can be found again in dungeons at level 25+.

Incompatibilies/Known Issues:
There shouldn't be any at the moment. If you find one, please let me know in the comments and I will fix it immediately.

IMPORTANT - YOUR IDEAS COUNT
To suggest new ideas, post them in the comments. I will take any BALANCED idea and incorporate it into the mod.

On my to do list -
Add slow-acting poison staffs that do more damage but take more time to do it.
Add new prefixes such as Explosive that signify area damage.
Add more staffs with permanent effects
Add non-hostile staffs
Add Healing runes which will be used for the non-hostile staffs.
Add physics runes which will be used for spells relating to physical location and the like. (Teleport staffs, staffs that move the target high in the air and let them drop causing fall damage, staffs that jump the target back a couple hundred feet to keep them away from you, etc, etc)
Instead of staffs that use 1-5 runes, make staffs that use 1-50. Since all rune costs will be multiplied by 10 or so the frequency you will encounter runes will increase and the value will go down.
Make the staffs less powerful. They're pretty overpowered as it is.
