So simple I'm surprised no one else came up with it first. Well, actually, I don't know that for sure, but I sure as heck couldn't find it.
So many mods have tweakable settings via the console now, but unfortunately whenever you start a new game, it's all gone and you have to put them in all over again. So the solution is thus: enable the esp, and then add those needed console commands to AutoExec.ini. Whenever the game loads, they'll be executed, and you'll be a happier man for having one less thing to keep track of.
Oh, and it needs Oblivion Script Extender.
