This mod gives you a new armor compatible with Room207\'s bodybuilder replacer mod (currently the largest body replacer for males available). It shows a great deal of nekkid chest :P The armor can be found in Chorol\'s Fighter\'s Guild near the fireplace.

ABOUT THIS MOD:

This mod gives you a new armor compatible with Room207's bodybuilder replacer mod (currently the largest body replacer for males available). The armor can be found in Chorol's Fighter's Guild near the fireplace.
This is just the result of experimentation with Oblivion's modding tools. It's not really that complicated. Just resized and mixed different pieces of armor and body pieces from different mods and from the vanilla game.
If you are a player who uses Room207's body type, then this armor would be perfect to show that body off while still not exactly naked. Hehe. The armor itself is heavy armor and has roughly the same stats as other vanilla heavy armor. It's not one of those "can't touch me" types of armors. Its advantages lie in its aesthetic benefits. Haha.
It includes a full set except for the helm.
1) Mercenary Cuirass - Includes pauldrons and chains from pale_rider's Armory of the Nordic Warrior (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26543) and leather straps from one of AlienSlof's Sexy male thief armor (can't link, kiddies reading this).
2) Mercenary Greaves - vanilla iron greaves tweaked to match the bodybuilder body replacer dimensions, for the bubble butt look, har har.
3) Mercenary Boots - mixed steel boots with iron boots.
4) Mercenary Gauntlets - mixed bracer and a steel gauntlet without gloves.
All of them are tweaked to perfectly match Room207's bodybuilder body replacer. It is recommended that you have already installed it. You can still use this mod without it, but if you are using a smaller body replacer or the vanilla Oblivion body, you will gain bulging muscles when you equip this. Females who wear the armor remain unaffected (they will simply look like they are wearing iron armor except for oversized boots).
You can find the full set in Chorol's Fighters' Guild, beside the fireplace on the first floor (beyond the dining table).

INSTALLATION:

It is recommended that you install Room207's bodybuilder body replacer to prevent breaking immersion when you put this on.
1) Manual install:
Unzip the file you have downloaded. Simply copy the Meshes folder, the Textures folder, and the S14 Mercenary Armor.esp file and paste it into your Oblivion\Data\ folder. You shouldn't be prompted to overwrite anything. This mod is self-contained and only requires that you have vanilla Oblivion installed.
2) OMOD install:
Unzip the file you have downloaded. Double click on the OMOD file. Start Oblivion Mod Manager and find S14 Hunky Mercenary Armor v0.5 on the right window and select it, then click on the Activate button below. It will install S14 Hunky Mercenary Armor.esp on your plugins list (left window), simply tick it along with the rest of your mods, then launch Oblivion.

Delete S14 Hunky Mercenary Armor.esp from Oblivion\Data\
Delete the mercenary folder from Oblivion\Data\meshes\armor\

2) OMOD Uninstall:
Simply select the mod again and click Deactivate on the button below.

None that I know of. Might have problems with mods that change Chorol completely or mods that change the Fighters' Guild in Chorol.

You may use this armor in any way you like, repack it, use it in a quest mod, etc. You don't need to ask permission (though that would be nice) All I ask is to be credited for it. :) This was intended to be part of a male companion mod... if I ever get around to understanding scripting. Meh.
I'll give you cookies if you can provide me or point me towards where I could download a basic NPC companion that is standalone (only requires vanilla Oblivion and SI esm files), and has the most basic options (follow, stay, share inventory), dialogue support, and voice support. So I could customize it... no? I'll give you a gajillion cookies... I'll throw in my soul as well.
