What does this mod do?
---

This mod adds a basic house to the Imperial City Market District. I got tired of every IC house mod being "you get it for free instantly" or "you only need to clobber some whimpy enemies", so I made my own that fixed those two issues. The house is right across from The Main Ingredient, and costs 10k gold. See Zlatzlat the blue Argonian at his tent, submerged in the water (he IS an argonian), for more details.

---
Future updates
---

I may double check the schedule coding I gave Zlatzlat, it seems he spends too much time in his submerged tent. This'll just require further testing, but I haven't encountered stability issues, so at least the mod's 100% stable.

---
Incompatabilities
---

Better Cities is probably incompatable. Same with anything else that modifies the area outside of The Main Ingredient, or the pond a little ways away from it. Other than that, the mod should work with anything.

---
Load order
---

Just for documentation's sake, I think the only load order thing you have to worry about is making sure it loads after overhauls.

Special thanks

Bethesda, for making Oblivion
The guys at the Construction Set Wiki, for making an idiot-friendly guide to setting up a house mod
Whoever wrote the scripts for purchasing houses on the CS Wiki. THANK YOU.
Solstheim and thePOSTALdude for the Silent MP3 and Lip files. Getting an old version of the CS would be impossible for me, so thanks for providing files for those of us who don't have non-GotY Oblivion.

Changelog

1.0: Initial release

1.1:
- Added 5 upgrades; each one aims to replace functionality that the 4 DLC houses offered. It doesn't completely make the DLC obsolete, but it does add several things that I'm sure vanilla players will like. Sorry, no Vile Lair-esque things; that just wouldn't make sense for house upgrades given how a fairly reputable trader is selling them.

The upgrades are as follows:
- A Wayshrine of Talos, miniaturized to fit in the basement. Also included with this upgrade is an Altar of the Nine.
- Altars of Spellmaking and Enchanting. The price of this isn't cheap, to offset the ease of getting it compared to normal Oblivion.
- An Alchemy garden that contains 5 of each type of Mana Bloom, and 1 of each type of Oblivion plant. Without any other mods, this is the only permanent source of these plants, as both subsets go poof in Vanilla Oblivion after the main quest is finished.
- Several display cases filled with steel armour and silver weps. At 4000 gold it ain't cheap, but Silver Longswords and bows are a pain to get, offsetting the cost.
- A Cabinet that spawns a bunch of arrows once per 3 days/whatever you have your reset time set to, and a portal to a room with a magic lockbox; the lockbox locks itself immediately after being unlocked, which allows you to train security in a quiet place.

- Zlatzlat now sells the upgrades. Visit him after buying the house and looking around in it to find the upgrades.
- The quest progression now actually works properly! Now it has 3 stages, a quest name, and an icon (which is from the unofficial oblivion patch/COBL).

1.2:
- Moved Zlatzlat to his own tent, submerged in the pool just near the Market House.
- Added a full schedule to Zlatzlat. Voice acting will take a while, but when it gets done he will seem like he actually belongs in TES4.
- Added a For Sale sign outside of the building, which automatically disappears after purchasing the house.
- Cleaned unnecessary modifications with TES4Edit. This ironically made this big release SMALLER than the last one.
- The house quest has a new ending; upon getting all the upgrades, Zlatzlat begins packing up his tent. In one day, he disappears from the world, along with his tent. Your house remains, though. These scripts allow for very little being changed in the Marketplace worldspace, as it disappears when no longer necessary.

1.3:
- Removed the Infinite Arrow chest. It wasn't that good an idea anyway.
- Replaced broken Draenei voice acting files with silent MP3 files and Lip syncing files. In game there's no real difference other than the silent MP3's lip syncing looking much better.
- Added pathing and northmarkers to all areas added in the plugin. It isn't perfect, but at least now followers can move around the place, and the quest arrow works while in your house now.
- Added some torches to the basement staircase and some sunbeams to various locations. Again, not perfect, but looks way better now.
- Removed unused entries. The mod is now as clean as it can possibly be.

1.31
- Fixed pricing of the upgrades. Now Frans users with Living Economy don't have to get gouged for the 5 upgrades.

1.4
- Removed the Wayshrine and Lockbox Dimension upgrades, and all related objects; the former was a little bit too overpowered, the latter just didn't work.
- Removed the Shrine of Talos and dragon statue on the second floor; replaced both with bookshelves. They're empty, fill em yourself :p
- Added a bookshelf to the first floor.
- Cleaned mod vigorously, it should be free of all the things removed now, AND should work flawlessly.
