Permissions and credits
Name: LM_LongerNights
Version: 1.21
Date: 7/18/2010
Category: Gameplay Effects and Changes
Requirements: Oblivion Patch 1.2.0.416, Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE)

Description
===========
A simple 'convenience' mod for vampires. Days are shorter (x0.66), nights are longer (x4), but you can control the flow of time once you get hold of the Bloodstone of Time.
You'll get a warning message 1 hour before sunset, and 30 minutes before sunrise (because time passes slower at night, 30 minutes is more than enough).
Also, the rooster's cocka-doodle-doo will be heard twice before sunrise, and again when the sun rises.

Details
=======
This is a total rewrite of syclonix's 'Longer Nights for Vampires' mod with additional features.

OBSE is required because OBSE functions are used in the mod to get the time of sunset/sunrise for the current climate, if another mod changes the climate, the player will still get the reminder correctly.

In Oblivion, the mod keeps tracking the time in Tamriel so when you leave Oblivion, there will be no nasty suprises from the Sun.

In v1.0: If you fail to hide from the sun, when your health drops to 50 percent of your base health, you'll burst into flames. The flames will not do any extra damage, they are just an eyecandy effect to remind you that vampires and sunlight do not mix. The flames will go out if you start swimming or when you enter an interior are where you are safe from the sun or if you heal yourself above 50 percent of your base health.
In v1.2: Now, after feeding on humans for the first time, when you sleep you will get a gift from Nocturnal, the Bloodstone of Time, that you can use to control the passage of time. (And you can also use it uninstall the mod).
In v1.21: Bugfix release. See History.

Install
=======
1. Copy the contents of the Data folder in the compressed archive to your (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\ directory.
2. Make sure that OBSE v0018 is installed.
3. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file(s).

Uninstall
=========
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).
2. Use the Bloodstone of Time to uninstall the mod. The uninstall process will reset your original timescale.

Incompatibility
===============
Not that I know of.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
- There may be bugs or conflicts, please bear with me, I'm new to modding. (I have some PHP experience but that's all).
If you experience problems with quests that require special timing, reload an earlier save, and set timeflow to normal.

History
=======

0.9, 05/19/2010 - Initial release. Sunrise warning with rooster, sunset warning (without sound).
1.0 07/03/2010 - Added burning flame effect (see Details).
1.2 07/15/2010 - Added Bloodstone of Time that you can use to control the flow of time during day and night. Script now recognizes if you sleep through the day/night.
The Bloodstone of Time can also be used to uninstall the mod.
1.21 07/18/2010 - Bugfix: fixed a bug that caused timescale to be set to zero (leading to various issues in the game world as time was not passing).
Fixed uninstall section so the script would not reinitialize itself immediately.
