With mods such as Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, loot is made quite a bit more valuable.
While this adds to the game tremendously (and makes it vastly more fun, in my
opinion) it also means you burn through the loot "targets" to advance in the Thieves'
Guild almost instantly.

"Higher Thieves' Guild Fence Amounts" fixes this problem by drastically raising these
"targets". While the default "targets" range from 50 gold on the low end to 1000
gold on the high end, this mod changes the "targets" from 500 gold on the low end to
5000 gold on the high end, with each "target" in 500 gold increments.

I've made this specifically for my own use with OOO; it may or may not work with other
mods that change loot values.

Virtually no playtesting was done with this mod, but it seems to work as I intended.
Doesn't seem to conflict with any other mods I have installed.
