1. INFORMATION ON THE MOD

A group of Golden Saints come to Tamriel to arrest you for a serious but unspecified
crime that you may or may not have committed. It may sound crazy, but the justice system in the
Shivering Isles is about as crazy as everything else is there. The fine is too high to pay, and these
Golden Saints are some of the toughest around, so you better just knuckle under and go to jail.
Since you have been given a life sentence for this alleged crime you know so little about, you
will have to break out of jail instead of serving your sentence. (Unless you enjoy playing
video games where you examine the walls of your cell and twiddle your thumbs.)

In this mod there are three different Shivering Isles jails you are sent to on a rotating basis.

In the jails, almost all of your possessions are taken from you, and you must start with
almost nothing as you fight your way to the chest where your items are kept. After you do this,
go to the exit door and you will be teleported back to Tamriel on the island with the strange door
in Niben Bay.

The Golden Saints will not chase you down except for the first time. But if you talk to
them again, they will try to arrest you again. If you think the jails are fun, you can get arrested
over and over and gather all the loot you want. The jails reset between arrests.

This mod does not start right at character generation. You will either have to rescue
Martin at Kvatch and get him to Cloud Ruler temple, or go talk to Haskill and then return to
Tamriel. The Golden Saints will only arrest you while you are in Tamriel. If you have already
done either of the above things when you activate the mod, the Golden Saints will start pursuing
you. If you want to get arrested sooner, go to the island with the strange door in Niben Bay.
There is a Golden Saint stationed there who will arrest you without the long chase.

You don't actually go to the Shivering Isles in this mod. There are new interior cells which
are versions of Shivering Isles jails. When arrested, you are teleported there. When you get out,
you are teleported back to Tamriel. This means that there won't be dialog bugs caused by
entering or leaving the Shivering Isles in an abnormal fashion.

2. Installation

Extract (decompress) the .esp file to your oblivion directory, the default is:
C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\
Mark the box next to the "Jailed By Golden Saints" plugin.

Alternately, extract someplace else. Then move the esp. to Oblivion\Data\, and the
Sound folder there also. Merge the new folder with the old. Often you can simply drop the
"Data" file into the "Oblivion" folder Make sure the files go into the proper directories they were
in when you downloaded the mod.

You have been stripped and will have to put on your jail clothes for yourself.

The Golden Saints only have one set of dialog and don't care whether or not you are
Sheogorath.

If the Golden Saints get interrupted during their attempt to accost you and speak to you,
they may not start the conversation they are supposed to, and will follow you around. But if
you speak to them at this point the conversation will start and the following will stop.

Golden Saints don't function right in Tamriel, so actresses of another race are playing
the part.

IMPROVED VERSION OF THIS MOD.
